Wolfcraft 3001000 Wood Shaper Drill Attachment with Cutter/ 8 mm Shank (CE) for Power Drills

Great Product which works well. I had a problem with my first one which siezed after a few uses - it was replaced with no problem and the new one works fine.

This is ok but tired out my 18v 2ah battery drill pretty quick and made it seem hard work. So perhaps an electric powered drill would be better to use it with. Overall found it useful for the price, it really is a cheap alternative to a proper router.

Very poor quality product. The thread for the main securing bolt is weak and no longer holds (after first use). It needs constantly tightening as it is very inclined to veer and loosen. The main spindle has bent as can be seen in the picture, indicating that the temperatures achieved during use have caused the material to buckle. In all, an unbelievably poor quality, badly designed, quite expensive product. Get a router second hand and achieve a far superior cut.

I bought this attachment to groove the side of boards to take the barbed flange of a plastic edging strip used in caravan furniture construction - doors, tables etc. The product is easy to set up and adjust for each application and seems to be well engineered. It is slightly awkward to handle when attached to a drill, but fine once you get used to the balance of the whole outfit. It cuts the grooves cleanly and relatively quickly. The 2.5mm groove provides a tight fit for the 3mm barbed flange of the edging strip, which is how it should be. My only concern is that after protracted use I am not sure whether it would be easy to sharpen the blade, or whether replacements are available. Overall a brilliant solution to the problem I had.

Great tool. Lots of doors done on camper van I was fitting out. Just make sure you have Proper speed on the drill you are using, but fantastic tool for edging doors.

The additional cutting tools come spindle mounted which do not fit the machine. You have to unscrew the cutting heads from the spindles and mount them on the spindle in the machine so quite wasteful. Cheap and cheerful and ok for chamfering if you control the action well, but I found it difficult/impossible to cut rebates and slots that were neat enough. Working with hardwoods would add to the problem. Better off saving up and buying a proper router.

Had one of these years ago and lost it. Glad I found this one. Good quality works well.

I bought this with a couple of carving heads, the description said compatible with 3001000, but it isn't. I tried to unscrew the head but it didn't come off. Till I ruined it. I will have to throw thm away and the 3001000 as well. 30£ down the drain. I consider this a rip off and a misleading description

Habe mir noch die von Amazon empfohlene Ergänzung mit zusätzlichen Fräsern gekauft. Ein wenig Übung ist nicht schlecht, hab das erste Holz zur Probe bearbeitet. Wenn man es dann raus hat funktioniert es wunderbar. Auch Rundungen etc. Würde jetzt zwar nicht damit professionell Campingausbau betreiben aber für ein paar Hölzer taugt das gut!

Ya tenía otra que se me extravíó, así que volví a comprarla. La uso para hacer marcos de cuadros a partir de listones de madera. Como pasa con todas las herramientas tas de mano, lo fundamental es la sujeción de las partes y regular la velocidad de rotación, el avance y la profundidad de pasada en función de la dureza del material. No conviene hacer ranuras muy profundas de una sola pasada....

J'ai pu faire avec les rainures de ma borne d'arcade pour y insérer un joint T-MOLDING. Parfait ! attention, comme écri dans les autres commentaire, chauffe beaucoup ! Comme les autres a fini par se gripper a cause de la chaleur ! le problème viens de l'axe pas assez lubrifié j'ai l'impression. J'ai enlevé les deux goupilles de l'axe ! je l'ai sorti au marteau, ajouté de l'huile de moteur pour lubrifier, et remonté l'axe ! tourne maintenant comme un avion et ne c'est plus jamais grippé ! fonctionne bien mieux avec l'huile.

Al contrario dell'altro recensore a me e' arrivato completo, in una scatola da montare. Era la prima volta che usavo un attrezzo del genere e dopo aver capito che ha un verso per funzionare , altrimenti scappa e strappa , fa proprio il suo dovere. L'ho ordinato per effettuare dei ridimensionamenti a dei ripiani ivar (Ikea); dopo aver tagliato il legno in eccesso, con questa fresa ho rifatto gli scansi per poter riemettere i fine ripiani dell'Ikea ed e' uscito un bel lavoro.

La herramienta como tal esta bien hecha. Pero es muy dificil manejarla y he tenido que optar por cambiar a una fresadora.
