Bosch 5X Reciprocating Saw Blade S 922 BF 'Flexible for Metal' (Metal, Pipes, Steel, Length 150 mm, Accessories Reciprocating Saws)

Used these before and like all blades in a reciprocating saw the enemy is heat. Attack a metal bar or pipe at full speed and you can destroy temper on cutting teeth in seconds. Use a lower speed and for cutting larger objects having even a small amount of suitable cutting fluid directed on to blade by a helper and backing off every few seconds really speeds cutting time and lengthens blade life There are specialist "Fire & Rescue" blades available which will enable rapid very cutting but can be 10x the price and even then don't last long if you really go for it

Used on a cheap DIY brand reciprocating saw to break down pallets but cutting the nails, blades work well have a bit of flex but that helps angle them in. Would assume like all of this type that they are fairly disposable in bigger jobs or extended cutting but for my application they were perfect.

Decent quality, reasonable lifespan. Used them to cut up an old fuel tank- great for 1-2mm mild steel, but anything thicker than about 4mm and you'll be going through them at a hell of a rate

Cut through an exhaust pipe very speedily. Quite impressed. .

I recently had an asbestos roof removed (by a registered remover I will add) and ended up with a lot of the nails left in the timber - the big asbestos fixing nails. I used these blades to cut these nails off as it wasn't possible to get them all out easily. The blades worked well and cut really quickly - at first. They didn't last long before they struggled to cut and I had to swap the blade out. I've cut about 100 nails off and have gone through 3 blades. So they work for small jobs but work them hard and they don't last.

Très bonnes lames. Je m'en sert pour couper de l'acier léger mais aussi du PVC et du cuivre en diamètre 40 et c'est rapide et propre. Compatible avec l'outil Parkside PAAS 12V, ultra pratique.
