Penn Elcom Rubber Foot 38mm/1.5" with Steel Washer F1687-PE4

I bought these to fit to a wooden "outside" table. They are ideal for raising it just enough to keep it from standing in puddles of water - a cheap and easy way to add years to its life expectancy. They were easily fitted and quite secure - there is some kind of metal sleeve/washer inside each one, which makes them very firm when in place - ie the rubber feet won't pop off if I drag the table over the ground. So all-in-all, a good purchase.

Excellent product fitted to a square 1m x 1m x 1.5m (high) solid wood table. Screws were a bit too short so I replaced them, but once fitted these rubber feet provide a nice height off the ground and are immovable even when the table is slid across the patio.

Background: Ordered these to use as feet for a custom built light box (for drawing), made mostly of MDF that sits on top of a wooden desk. These feet stop the light box from sliding when lent on and protect the desk from being scratched or worn. Win, win. Verdict: Good sturdy quality. Would buy these again and think they could be used for many other applications. Under cabinets, under desks etc. Delivery: Standard delivery was quick.

Lost one of the feet from my aluminium steps, made of extruded rectangular tube, and couldn't find any replacements to fit. So made some strips of wood to fit inside the rectangular tube, cut them off at the required angle and screwed these to the end of the wooden strips. Used longer screws of my own. The screws provided were a bit too short, but being black these will be ideal for another application . Job done and much cheaper than replacement feet made for this purpose.

If you have outdoor wooden furniture these are a must to keep the legs elevated up out of the rain water. Personally I preferred a longer screw but these rubber feet are good and solid and fit just perfectly. As a tip I'd recommend putting a coat of paint on the feet of the table/chair legs first, as an added protection - keeps splashing at bay from any wood that remains exposed. I just regret not having them fitted a couple of years back. With wood now being so expensive, fitting these will help to prevent having to replace furniture legs if not the whole piece of furniture and are invaluable in that regard. They also arrived fairly promptly.

Feel more like plastic than rubber!

Used these to slightly raise the height of a wooden garden table and lift it off of the patio where it was sitting in a puddle which was rotting the legs. Now the chairs all fit under it again and the bottom of the legs remain dry.
