Works great and easy to apply on both CPU and GPU.
I bought it to use while upgrading my PC I build in 2011. I have applied it to both my CPU and GPU that I upgraded with. GPU is a little warm but under the range. CPU is running cool and well below the recommended temperature. Good product.

Excellent Cooling for My CPU
I used the ARCTIC MX-6 on my CPU, and the results were great. It was easy to apply, and I noticed a clear drop in temperatures right away. My system runs cooler and more consistently now. For the price and performance, it’s definitely one of the best thermal pastes I’ve used.

worked as expected.
my laptop was over heating. it was too hot to be on my lap. my fan is fine and was not dusty now was the fins. I could not find any dust anywhere. everything looked good. I looked at the youtube videos that say check the thermal paste. So I bought this paste, I cleaned off the old crusty paste on my cpu and heat sync and applied this paste. now my laptop runs cool again. hard to believe this paste made such a big difference but that is all I changed. made a believer out of me.

Excellent Long-Lasting Thermal Paste – Great Alternative to Noctua
I used the ARCTIC MX-6 (4g) with a Ryzen 9 7900X3D and a Corsair H150i AIO cooler, paired with a Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame. The application was super easy — smooth consistency, spreads well with even pressure, and no mess. After applying it, I ran OCCT stress tests and saw stable temperatures around 67°C under full CPU load, down from ~73°C with the stock paste. That’s a real-world improvement of 5–6°C, which is impressive considering how thermally demanding the AM5 platform can be. What I also love is that it’s non-conductive, safe, and rated for long-term durability (up to 8 years) — so it’s set-and-forget for high-performance systems. If you’re looking for a premium thermal paste without the premium price of Kryonaut or NT-H2, MX-6 delivers excellent performance, great spread, and long-lasting results. I’ll definitely be using it again.

Used this to repaste my 3070Ti. Worked well and was relatively easy to work with. Lowered my temps back down from the stratosphere but I replaced everything in there, so who knows if this was the true fix (I doubt it). Great quality paste.

MX6 updated formula
Works beautifully. Price is good for the amount you get, it dropped temperatures about 7c over NTH1 which is massive. Best advice for application of use is to not try and spread it, it's nearly impossible. You're better off having too much paste than too little. Would buy again/10

Cheap and effective!
This is my first experience with having to re apply thermal paste on anything, so I can't say anything about other brands or products but i like this one and i'd buy it again. It Arrived quick, it was ready to go and applied easily enough, and wasn't runny. Before new paste my cpu ran over 200°F and the fans would run like crazy now it runs under 140° at max load and i dont ever hear the fan! Also there is plenty In the tube for another round down the road if needed Definitely worth the $8

Good general purpose thermal compound
Good, general purpose thermal compound. Spreads easily using a single edge razor blade. Lowered CPU temp to 40°C.

I was initially skeptical about replacing my trusty old thermal paste, but the Arctic MX-6 has completely won me over. This thermal paste is a revelation! Performance: * Exceptional Cooling: The MX-6 delivers outstanding cooling performance, significantly reducing CPU temperatures, even under heavy load. My system runs cooler and quieter than ever before. * Long-lasting: The paste's formula ensures long-lasting performance, eliminating the need for frequent reapplications. Ease of Use: * Smooth Application: The paste spreads evenly and easily, making the application process a breeze. No more messy cleanups or uneven spreads. * Non-Conductive: The non-conductive nature of the paste provides peace of mind, protecting your components from potential damage. Value for Money: * Affordable Excellence: The MX-6 offers incredible value for money. It's a budget-friendly option that rivals high-end thermal pastes in terms of performance. Overall: If you're looking to upgrade your thermal solution, the Arctic MX-6 is an excellent choice. It's a reliable, high-performance thermal paste that will keep your system running cool and stable for years to come. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch thermal solution without breaking the bank.

I had beed trying hard Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for 3 years, almost 7 tubes of 2gm each. It performs well for first 3-4 months then dried. I have a 3060 laptop, undervolted, core clock boost limited so it never exceeds 80 degrees in stress. Use with 30 degrees tilted laptop cooling stand. Used Coolermaster Mastergel Maker in between, Deepcool some i forgot. Nothing satisfied me over Kryonaut. Finally after thinking many times switched to MX6. I can tell its a very good product. It surpassed my expectations in controlling thermals. I do heavy use my laptop. I have confidence that MX6 is almost identical to kryonaut and might last longer with very affordable price compared.

Initial Impressions: The Arctic MX-6 arrives in simple, no-frills packaging with a protective cap and an applicator included. The syringe design makes application straightforward, and the paste itself has a smooth consistency—thicker than some cheaper pastes but still easy to spread. Build Quality & Design: Arctic has a strong reputation for thermal compounds, and the MX-6 feels like a refinement of their earlier MX-4 and MX-5 formulas. The paste doesn’t separate or run, and it has a dense texture that stays where you put it. The syringe is sturdy and precise, allowing for controlled application without waste. Ease of Use & Performance: Application was simple—just a pea-sized dot on a CPU before installing the cooler. The paste spread evenly under pressure, with no air bubbles or excess mess. In testing, CPU temps dropped a few degrees compared to my older MX-4 paste, and load stability was excellent. The performance gain isn’t dramatic if you already use a high-quality thermal paste, but it’s noticeably better than stock compounds or budget pastes. Arctic claims long-term durability, which is consistent with their past products that often last 5+ years without drying out. Value & Comparisons: MX-6 is a little pricier than older versions, but the performance, stability, and ease of use justify the cost. It doesn’t have the highest thermal conductivity on the market compared to exotic liquid metal compounds, but it’s much safer (non-conductive, non-corrosive) and more user-friendly. For everyday builders and gamers, it strikes an excellent balance. Pros: • Smooth, easy-to-apply consistency • Non-conductive and non-corrosive • Noticeable improvement over stock/budget pastes • Long lifespan without drying out • Safer than liquid metal options Cons: • Slightly more expensive than MX-4/MX-5 • Gains are modest if upgrading from a good paste • Not as extreme as liquid metal compounds Verdict: The Arctic MX-6 is a dependable, user-friendly thermal paste that offers a solid balance of cooling performance, safety, and longevity. It won’t replace liquid metal for extreme overclockers, but for most PC builders and gamers, it’s one of the best all-around options on the market today.
