X-T5 Body Only - Silver

This really is a fantastic image producing beast. If your used to a XT-3 or 4 you might initially think the build is a little less solid. But believe me, I’ve watched the videos on Ytube and read the reviews. This thing belts out fantastic images, my older computer, it is still a windows 10 and I’ve tried it on two along with a upto date windows 11 and a MAC. They handles RAW files fine. Low light ISO is great, as well as my older XT-3. It really does bring those listed lens to life and works really well with the older batch. It’s smaller than my old XT-3, now my second body. If you’ve been looking to update your XT-1/2/3 and not sure about the 4. This NO5 is really fantastic. However if your happy with your Fuji 3 or 4 and it’s doing the job you want then I wouldn’t rush out and buy the new XT-5 it’s Good. But I don’t think it’s the very best they have made. The overall feel is a little, well plasticky. But what a sensor.

Great camera, lovely to use. If you only have one camera then this makes an excellent choose. I already have other cameras, including a Fujifilm XT30; I bought the XT5 because of the 40mp sensor but unless you have the best lenses, you won’t really see any difference in image quality. I decided I was still happy with the XT30 and so the XT5 was returned. My only criticism of the XT5 is that the ergonomics aren’t the best and so I would have wanted an additional grip if I’d been going to keep it.

So coming from an xs-10, this camera is better in every way, except one area. The back screen tilt mechanism. Why this x-T5 mechanism is in use when you can easily make a full tilts twist system water resistant is beyond me. But that is my only grip. Love this camera and the seller shipped it in a fast and timely manner. Happy bunny this end

I bought this because I couldn’t get hold of the X100 VI. I since managed to get hold of an X100 VI but the XT5 isn’t much bigger, is nicer to hold and much more flexible with the interchangeable lenses.

This is a lovely little camera, jammed full of features including some class leading elements such as the 40 mp sensor, superb in-body image stabilisation and various subject detection modes which were impressive. It produces great jpegs too. High ISO performance is not so good; anything above 6400 being pretty unusable. I sent the lens back because I could not get a lens that did justice to the sensor - I shoot birds so it has to be a long lens and I could not find a suitable candidate. The high sensor resolution is likely to show up imperfections in lenses that would look good at 20 mp. I gave only four stars to the autofocus because I never had a chance to really see what it could do with great glass - but picking out the eyes of birds was very impressive. The EVF was bright and clear with very little lag and easily customisable to provide all the information you want - except the actual ISO being used! There are lots of customisable buttons which, with the dials and command wheels make the camera easily controllable when not in Auto mode. Overall I gave it four stars because of the lack of suitable glass for what I want. If you like landscapes or portraits there are loads of choices - but why do you need 40 mp for that?

This is my 3rd fujix camera. This one did not disappoint. Lovely images and great value lenses.

I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my other Fuji camera. I was attracted by the sensor ugrade with the increase to 40 megapixel, the new processor and the auto focus improvements. I have not been disappointed. I love the Fuji build with its retro look and having the major dial controls accessible on the top of the body and not having to sort through various electronic screen menus to make adjustments. Being able to preset the controls without having to even turn it on. I'm still in the early days of owning this camera so I have not had the opportunity to use all of the features the camera has, or to make in depth comparrisons with the images taken by the Xt-5 and those from my other Fuji cameras.

Love the camera. Coming from a x-t3 and x-t4, picture quality is excellent, size is ideal and focus is nice.

Nachdem ich inzwischen mehrere Fuji Modelle hatte, zuletzt X-T4; X-H2; X-H2s; X-S20 usw.. wollte ich definitiv keine X-T5! Zumal es auch Probleme bei der Vergütung des Suchers gab. Mit meinem Canon System, jetzt: R6ii bin ich sehr zufrieden, aber ich konnte doch nicht widerstehen mir als 2. System noch mal eine Fuji zu holen. Es wurde nun doch eine X-T5 in silber im Kit mit dem 16-50mm Objektiv. Noch vorhanden waren ein 35er f1.4; ein 23er f1.4 . Da mir das Fuji eigene Menu und die Filmsimulationen bekannt waren, bedurfte es nur wenig Eingewöhnung. Der Sensor ist identisch mit dem, der X-H2 und daher auch die Bildqualität gleichwertig. Gespannt war ich, wie sich die T5 im Autofokus inzwischen weiter entwickelt hat. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass sowohl die AF-Geschwindigkeit, als auch die AF-Trefferquote bei AF-C nicht an die Qualität von Canon heran kommt. Die Trefferquote liegt mit AF-C bei ca. 80% (+/- 10%). Der Fokus ist bei beweglichen Objekten nicht gerade langsam, aber er ist nicht so konstant und variiert auf unterschiedliche Ziele. Das betrifft besonders den Augen-AF und Gesichtserkennung beim fotografieren von spielenden Kindern und sonstigen sich bewegenden Menschen/Tieren. Insgesamt ist die Kombi als Kit mit dem 16-50er Objektiv eine empfehlenswerte Variante für eine relativ kleine und hochwertige Kamera, vorausgesetzt man mag das Bedienkonzept. Für eingefleischte PASM-User ist es eher nicht geeignet und das Mantra der Fuji Fans, ein „entschleunigtes Fotografieren“ hat sich bei keiner meiner bisherigen Fuji‘s bei mir bemerkbar gemacht.

Je vous renvois aux tests sur internet pour en savoir plus, mais c'est un excellent hybride. Seul son autofocus est parfois capricieux et ses menus font un peu vieillot. Pour le reste il est vraiment excellent en tout points.

Llevo usando la Fujifilm X-T5 en gris varias semanas y tengo que decir que me ha enamorado. Soy fotógrafo y creador de contenido, y esta cámara combina todo lo que necesito: calidad de imagen, rapidez y portabilidad, todo en un cuerpo elegante y ligero. El color gris le da un toque discreto y sofisticado que me gusta mucho; se ve profesional sin llamar la atención cuando estoy en la calle o en eventos. La calidad de imagen es impresionante: los colores, el rango dinámico y la nitidez hacen que cada foto tenga un acabado muy profesional. Además, los simuladores de película de Fujifilm me permiten darle a mis imágenes ese estilo cálido y cinematográfico que tanto me gusta, especialmente en bodas y retratos. El autofocus es rápido y fiable, tanto para fotos como para vídeo, y la estabilización en el cuerpo funciona muy bien con objetivos como el 16mm o el 23mm, facilitando tomas suaves incluso a mano alzada. La ergonomía también me encanta: los diales son precisos y cómodos, y el grip hace que la cámara se sienta sólida en la mano. Si tengo que ponerle un pero, diría que la batería podría durar un poco más si haces sesiones largas de foto y vídeo, aunque con una o dos adicionales se soluciona fácilmente. También echo en falta que algunos menús sean un poco más intuitivos para cambiar ajustes rápido, pero nada que frene mi flujo de trabajo. En resumen, la X-T5 es una cámara que me hace disfrutar aún más de mi trabajo. Ligera, potente y con un diseño elegante, es perfecta tanto para fotografía como para vídeo, y cada vez que la saco me recuerda por qué elegí Fujifilm.

Brilliant craftsmanship in a classical body. In only returned it because of my incapacity to deal with the FOV crop on this type of body. Everything else: stellar.
