Doesn't scratch.
What I like about this the most is it has a felt base which doesn't scratch my desk. It's a good strong note holder, looks really nice and the paper refill that came free with it is a bonus. The price was very reasonable too, in fact a bargain I would say. The leather look makes it appear more expensive. I bought one in brown but liked the grey a lot too, it was hard to choose which one to take. It also arrived in it's own little box which makes it ideal to give as a gift to someone.
