Great Product
I gave Movewellia to my labrador who has Arthritis and followed the instructions. Movewellia has definitely helped her mobility improve to what it was. I have used Dorwest products for a number of years now and have found the quality of their products to be excellent and effective. Movewellia is so easy for your dog to take as there is very little if any smell and taste. The cost is competitive.

Transparent Ingredients for Stiff Joints, but is it enough for Senior Dogs?
Summary: A high-quality, transparently sourced supplement that is excellent for proactive maintenance but may lack the potency needed for dogs already experiencing significant mobility decline. Pros: Transparent Sourcing: Full disclosure on marine-sourced glucosamine and chondroitin. High-Strength Boswellia: Guaranteed 90% acids for natural anti-inflammatory support. Ethical Manufacturing: Sustained and ethical harvesting practices. Cons: Potency for Seniors: May not be strong enough for dogs with advanced arthritis or severe stiffness. Long-Term Strategy: Reliance on traditional glucosamine may not be sufficient as a standalone senior care Watching my oldest dog enter his senior years and struggle to climb the stairs or hesitate before jumping onto the sofa was heartbreaking. After researching natural dog joint supplements, I decided to invest in the 500-tablet bulk pack of Dorwest Herbs MoveWellia to proactively support my younger dog’s mobility. This review reflects our journey over several months of use. Advanced Support and Manufacturer Transparency MoveWellia is designed for pets showing signs of stiffness and joint pain, featuring a high-strength boswellia extract (guaranteed 90% boswellic acids) to support natural anti-inflammatory pathways. One aspect that truly set this experience apart was the company's integrity. When I contacted Dorwest Herbs directly for allergen information, their team provided clear details about their sourcing - specifically that their glucosamine and chondroitin are marine-sourced from crustaceans and squid. Knowing the ingredients are sustainably sourced gave me significant peace of mind. Critical Considerations Dosing and Cost: My young dog (3.6kg) took one tablet per day. Because the maintenance dose for dogs under 10kg is just a single tablet, this 500-pill tub lasted over a year, making it an incredibly cost-effective supplement for smaller breeds. It came in much cheaper than my older dog’s vet-prescribed regimen of Dasaquin: a year’s supply of Dasaquin for a dog under 10 kg would cost £158.46. Movewello comes in at £100.20. Allergies: This supplement contains marine-sourced ingredients and is not suitable for pets with seafood or shellfish allergies. Loading Period: You must double the dose for the first month to see results. It generally takes about three weeks to see a visible change in movement. Tablet Size: The tablets are small, but some pets may still find them difficult to take unless hidden in a high-value treat. Re-evaluating Proactive Care My perspective on senior dog care shifted after watching my older dog struggle. He had been on a vet-prescribed supplement, but the traditional glucosamine strategy ultimately failed him. Seeing that high-level clinical approach fall short made me pause and question whether MoveWellia - which relies on a similar profile of glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid - was truly the most effective way to support long-term joint health. While these ingredients are common for "cushioning" cartilage and helping dogs with arthritis, I realised I wanted a strategy with more definitive results for when aging really sets in. A Research-Backed Shift I ultimately stopped purchasing MoveWellia after 18 months. It is a high-quality product from a reputable brand. If you are looking for a natural way to manage stiff joints in dogs with a brand that offers total transparency, this is a good choice. However, for those dealing with advanced mobility issues, it may be worth consulting your vet about a multi-modal approach. I have since transitioned to: High-quality Omega-3 Fish Oil: Specifically Nordic Naturals Nordic Pet Omega-3 (available on Amazon), which has a robust evidence base for reducing systemic inflammation. UC-II Collagen: Emerging veterinary studies suggest that undenatured type II collagen may be significantly more effective than the glucosamine/chondroitin combination in improving mobility and managing discomfort. On this new regimen, and with physiotherapy, my oldest dog's ease of movement, strength, and flexibility are visibly improving. Bottom Line Dorwest is a fantastic, transparent company, and MoveWellia is a gentle, natural option. However, for dogs actively recovering from joint stiffness or injury, the combination of high-EPA fish oil and UC-II collagen offers the best targeted support. I hope my story helps other pet guardians decide if MoveWellia is the right fit for their dog’s specific needs.
