Fantastic product for all polishing (and honing ) needs ,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
These are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I make jewellery and smallish carvings from wood , furniture, spoons, carved or woodburned signs ,etc, often mixed with resin ,or metal .I've had loads of problems from other brands of both wet and dry sandpaper ,often meaning I've had to take ages to get the desired finish ,and sometimes not getting it at all....but problem solved with these AMAZING pads! Firstly ,they sand and polish to an incredible finish-on wooden items ,it's like they've had a coat of varnish and the finish is completely smooth ,and shiny ,if you want to polish to that level. It doesn't take much effort at all ,and the colour coded grading system is easy to use ,and really works. Though small in size they can also be used to polish a larger area ,so I've used them on small table tops and stools I've made .Anyone who works with resin knows how difficult it can be to get a really nice finish ,whether the resin is dyed ,or transparent but these pads give a gorgeous, smooth finish. It's made my work so much easier ,and saved loads of time. I've also found a couple of bonuses with these pads. I'm not the best at sharpening tools ,such as carving blades and axes ,but I've found the size ,and quality of these are OUTSTANDING for getting an extremely sharp edge .It's very easy to use them to polish and axe ,or run a knife/carving tool/chisel over them to hone the blade. It got my axe incredibly sharp. As I think others have mentioned, they also really give new life to things such as the plastic on car headlights ,and surfaces on hi-fi units and that sort of thing ,removing scratches and dullness. I've been using them for well over four months, more or less daily now ,and they are surprisingly performing just as well as when I first used them. Unlike sandpaper ,they are extremely durable. They clean easily ,under a tap ,and dry out quickly if needed ,though I've found them to perform perfectly without any need to clean them. These are now my go to sanding/polishing/honing/sharpening pads ,and I'll certainly be ordering more of these ,though I expect they'll last a very ,very long time. It's great finding such well designed quality ,at such a great price. I'm looking forward to trying out some of their other items.. Genuine customer ,very happy with a great product.

lots of grades, great for polishing small pieces of resin
I bought these for polishing resin. As long as you're OK with the small surface area (they're only really good for smaller pieces) they're amazing. Colour coded so you know which order to polish in, and the final one gives the brightest smoothest polished surface I've seen, it's like magic! The size didn't result in losing a star as they were advertised clearly, but like I said if you wanted to so any bigger pieces these might not be for you.

Good but not ideal for shaping and burnishing fingernails for guitar
I play classical guitar and need to keep my fingernails in good order. This set of grades is ideal for my purposes. Also the pads are two-sided which doubles the area available. They are ideal except that the centre portion is wasted - I only use round the edge. I guess in time I could cut the edges away to give a new surface but it would be better to have longer thinner strips so you can use the whole surface. Maybe there are such formats but if so I didn't find them. They can be washed after every few sessions but they do eventually get old and less effective.

Handy for small projects/infrequent use
Really handy. I was able to repair a scratch on the casing of a watch to a mirror shine with the finest pad, and used the set to make some resin jewellery as the finest pad can get resin smooth enough to be transparent. Useful for small art projects/odd jobs. For heavy use, the more coarse pads will wear out quicker than the finer, so those will be what you need to replace first. Everything from 6000+ though has lasted for ages for me.

Good pads
I bought these for wood turning. So far, have only used them a couple of times but they seem to work very well. The only slight disappointment was that the backing is a little stiffer than I expected, so I found it difficult to use it in constrained areas (case in point, the inside of an egg cup). However, this is not a fault, just a characteristic of the pads one should be aware of.

Was sceptical but now I'm simply astonished!
I was sceptical that any form of dry sanding/buffing could achieve a glass-like finish on acrylic, these proved that its 100% and in a relatively short amount of time! Got these the other day for a project I'm going to be working on and wanted to test them on a bit of spare acrylic I had. Prior to starting with these pads, the acrylic had been sanded with 600 wet and dry paper. I slowly worked my way up from 1500 to 12000 and sure enough ended up with an almost perfect glass finish, certainly good enough for what I need. In addition I only spent about 30 mins on this and know that if I were willing to spend about 2 hours I could get a 100% perfect glass finish! When I first opened them I was a little worried they would be too small but actually are a very good size! The only, and very minor con I would mention is that the colours on the guide that comes with them to show you which pad is what grit level are not very accurate. The colour guide could be made to match the colour of the pads better to prevent any possible confusion. In general I am incredibly happy and would HIGHLY recommend!
