Klein Theo Miele Washing Machine Premium Toys for Kids Ages 3 Years & Up

My toddler is fascinated with washing machines, and this toy was perfect. It takes 3 C batteries and has a wash tub big enough to fit maybe a doll dress or a pair of children's socks. After the door is closed you can optionally fill the tub with water though the soap drawer on the top left. The instructions say you can add up to 0.1L of water, but since this is America where such exotic measuring systems are only used by evil alchemists and wielders of black magic I used somewhere between 1/4-1/2 a cup. After pushing the start button, the machine will start with a 'fill' cycle where it just makes a sound similar to what a real washing machine would sound like when it is filling with water. That lasts about 5 seconds, and then the wash cycle starts. It lasts somewhere around 5-10 seconds, and the drum rotates both clockwise and counter clockwise a few times. After that come rinse and spin cycles where more whooshing noises are made and the drum spins around. I didn't bother timing it, but I estimate a full cycle takes somewhere around 30-45 seconds to finish completely. After that you can use the supplied drain tube to get the water out of the washer or just turn the thing upside down over the sink. It looks like a real washer, the sounds are realistic, you can put real clothes in it and optionally use water, the drum really moves and my kid loves it.

Gave this to my 3 year old grandson who loves to help me do laundry. Well, this was the best present at Christmas. It spins one way and then the other just like a real machine, looks just like a real machine and after a short while rings a bell that the wash is done. You can add water to it but we didn't and he really didn't care. My grandson was making believe he was washing his socks, underwear, etc. all day long. Even the adults were amazed at how real this toy looks and acted. Another 3 year old asked him if he would wash her socks, too. Adorable!! My grandson loves trucks and that's what he always goes for but this won him over and he is still playing with it weeks later.

Stopped working after about 5 minutes of use. My Son is still fascinated with it though, he uses the manual turn on the back. Ordered a new one and has been working great! My son loves it. We kept the broken one, he uses it as the dryer.

It's cute and almost realistic but water leaks. Not supposed to I think. It's a fun toy though. Works fine.

I bought this washing machine for my son because he was so excited that it actually worked like a real washing machine. That unfortunately is not the case and the products that I received was not what was advertised. The water leaks out of it like a sieve, and the spinning function does not work as advertised, there is a crank on the back of it that you spin it manually, so it takes three c batteries to make noises and have lights and that's it. I thought the first one was just a fluke so I returned that one and ordered a new one, and the new one is the same as the original one and not as advertised, I will be returning the second one also. This purchase was a big disappointment.

Theo Klein - Miele Washing Machine Premium is one of the cutest and highly quality toys I’ve had the pleasure of gifting to my 6 year old niece. It takes C batteries or you can turn it manually with the little handle they provide. It’s an actual replication of an adult washer. We washed Barbie, LOL, and American Doll clothes. Just as with a regular washer, you can’t overload this mini washer. Also, the size is perfect. It doesn’t take up much space. A child could use on floor or a table. Enjoy your purchase because your child will love it.
