I needed these cable stops because I was fitting combined brake levers/gear shifters to my bike. These cable stops are just the job as they are neat, easy to install (one screw) and look good once on the bike. A word of warning to wouyld eb purchasers; although advertised as Shimano cable stops, according to MagBook Bicycle maintenance they are actually Campagnolo cable stops. The Shimano ones come with a small chrome lever built in to make adjustment slightly easier, whilst the Campagnolo ones have the knurled adjuster as these do. They still do the job though.

I bought these to convert my 30 year old gazelle road bike to handle bar shifters from down tube. The quality and fit is excellent. The bike looks as if they were always meant to be there. Definitely worth the money.

These are great, I wish I could give them 10 stars. I have an old Specialized road bike that I liked but hated the shift on the tube so I haven't ridden it in years. Nobody wants older bikes with that feature so it was headed for the dumpster. I was interested when I saw an online video where someone had converted an old bike to a modern handlebar shift using these adapters that screw into the old shifter mounts and anchor the new cables coming from the handlebar. I purchased these and a handlebar shifter/ brake kit on Amazon with cables and it works great! The adapters came with everything needed and fit the tube mounts perfectly. The front and back gears, brakes, and shifting apparatus is unchanged and works fine. Sure, this old steel road bike is heavier than a modern one but for commuting it is perfect!

Es muy fácil colocarlos, traen 2 tornillos allen de M5, quitas las palancas originales en caso que las haya y colocas estos accesorios que permiten ajustar la tensión de los cables de cambio y desviador permitiendo un mejor ajuste. Las he utilizado para actualizar un cuadro Vitus con 30 años de antigüedad.
