WHISPER QUIET Ill never go back to battery again!!
Ive had a battery operated rotisserie "engines" for ages. Electric is WHISPER QUIET !!! this is awesome, I didnt have to alter anything on my existing BBQ set up, all the pieces fit exactly, and no noise , Ive become so used to the battery ones making noise that I really thought it would just save be battery money. I love its smooth operation, just a total bargain for the price a really well built piece of kit. TOTALLY RECOMMEND

Slipped straight on to bracket , perfect and constant speed of rotation for cooking ,easy to use , good price.

Cheap, Quiet, Works Well
Ordered to replace my battery unit which takes 2 D size batteries. This unit is much quieter and I agree with one of the other reviewers that I will not be going back to a battery powered unit. This was less than £20 when I bought it and I have probably spent more than that on batteries for the old one. Buying this was a no brainer, I would buy again without question.

Bought as a replacement for my battery motor. Very powerful and virtually silent.

Work well even under a heavy load
I have been using the Onlyfire Rotisserie all of this summer and loving it. While the bracket holding the motor has to be adjusted every now and then, these motors are great. I have loaded it end to end and, so long as you balance it, these motors just keep on silently turning way hour after hour without seeming to strain or get overly hot. After 20 BBQs and maybe 120 hours use (a good few slow smokes) still as good as new.

Easy to use
Thought I was saving the planet as I bought a battery operated one initially but used too many batteries on a roast. Got this electric version and didn't look back. Nice bit of kit

Upgrade
Upgraded from battery drive to mains - good fit to the my existing mount and spit and able to handle the additional weight - which was the main reason for the upgrade. Very quiet (another reason for the upgrade). Cooking on the spit definitely the best way to cook whole chickens/joints of meat - even if its not for a BBQ - pleased with purchase.
