Its a great saw, powerful and stubby for great access, plus the ability to adjust the blade angle is really useful. It just seems to vibrate more than similar saws from other brands I've used. I bought this as I have other tools that use the 18v battery, if I didn't then I may have chosen differently.

Originally purchased a cheap version of a reciprocating saw waste of money saw this dewalt and thought give it a try was amazed so much power with a 4 amp battery cutting through pallets it wore out the saw blade before the battery needed changing so about one and a half hours of continually sawing before it needed charging absolutely brilliant worth every penny even used it to cut down some small trees plus you have the benefit with it being portable no trailing long leads over the garden and as I did in the past with my electric reciprocating saw cutting through the cable yes you have to buy a battery but I have drills that use the same battery so that was a saving

As a retired man and a D.I.Y. perfectionist, I purchased this with no particular purpose in mind other than to add it to my growing collection of quality cordless tools, mainly Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee. I have to say it is of great quality as to be expected by Dewalt, simple 4 way blade change and nice big trigger making it simple to operate. I do find it a bit heavy but thats just me but already I am beginning to plan projects where this tool will play a part. Very nice indeed.

A powerful tool....used to cut up oil tanks. No bother..

Mi sono finalmente deciso di staccare la spina e diventare autonomo. Ottima alternativa alla motosega. Avevo necessità di tirare un lungo cavo di prolunga ogni volta che volevo tagliare qualche ramo in giardino. Con questo seghetto non ho più limitazioni e la batteria da 5Ah mi consente di lavorare a lungo e tagliare rami fino a 15/20 cm di diametro. Un consiglio: usate sempre i dispositivi di sicurezza come guanti, occhiali e protezioni antinfortunistiche necessarie!
