Order pump for 2” punch well about 50’ deep. Water level around 25’. Installed pump and works as described. After several uses top hat broke. I contacted seller and sent pictures. They immediately responded and replace pump. Very satisfied with pump and customer services. Highly recommend!

Got this installed, primed and running at my off grid hunting camp. It is a solid unit, installed directly on 1.25 threaded sand point pipe and has a lot more pumping leverage than a short handle pitcher pump. It effectively moves water from a 12' fine mesh sand point in a tight formation. There's significant hydrostatic pressure to overcome and this pump does it. Now the negative. Had to order twice, both orders were missing a major part. How does this happen? There are 4 total parts!!! Amazon handled the issue, and I was able to make a complete unit from the 2 shipments. The interior is rough, I may try the cylinder hone mentioned in another post if it doesn't wear in. Good unit if yours comes complete. Just be sure to inspect before packing it in to a remote location! Edit after a year's operation. Water scale filled in the rough spots nicely, smooth as silk now. Still pumping and holding up well. This thing holds prime forever. Added a deprime valve below the washers for cold season use to allow the stand pipe to drain. Second edit. Be sure to remove the check valve stopper for cold weather winterize. We managed to freeze and split ours this winter as the flapper froze down before the water could gravity drain down the stand pipe with our improvised relief valve (thumb screw and plumbers tape). Not the pumps fault, but may be useful information for some who live where the air hurts your face.

Nice heavy duty pump that was easy to install and held a prime when we up this past weekend. Let's hope it continues to do so. Good water flow since we hit water using the old wire method and can fill a 5 gallon bucket in about 2 minutes.

Going to disassemble and paint inside out. Exterior and interior rust within a week. Have to pump 3x to flush out brown rust water. Take my advice: DO NOT buy unless you want to paint up front before installation or you read feedback the manufacturer has changed painting process.

Mounted this hand pump on top of my functioning drilled well... Attached a foot valve to 30 feet of 1.5 PVC pipe to the bottom of this hand pump. This works great for when there are power outages, or when the grandkids, visit they enjoy pumping the hand pump for a nice refreshing drink of water.
