BB Motion - great phone
Let me start by stating that I am not familiar with the mobile phone market to the extent that I can compare the BB Motion to other phones, I can only comment on the phone and my experience with it, and I love it! My previous Android had become a bit tired and needed replacing, so after some research I decided to go with the Motion. I was a BB fan back in the days of BB OS, but the lack of apps lead me away to the Android world. With this phone I think BB are back. The phone is very well built, looks and feels like a quality piece of equipment. Phone set up and transfer of data from my old phone was easy with the BB Transfer app. This essentially a business phone I think, and does very well in that context. Loads of useful features like BB screen protect (hides text you don’t want read over your shoulder), business card scanning and secure locker for sensitive data Some of the negative comments I saw while researching this phone: The screen is so slippery it might slide off a desk. – What a load of tosh. It is slippery, but this is a nice feel when using the phone, it does not slide about and mine is in case anyway The screen collects finger prints – don’t they all? Wipes clean easy enough The buttons are awkward… I didn’t notice this, but in any case - you get used to it Lacks physical keyboard – Buy the Keyone! I like the BB keyboard too, but opted for the waterproof version Mediocre camera – maybe, compared with other phones, but it’s a business phone, I find the pics ok for my purposes Midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor – helps get the long battery life Things I like: Monster battery life! I get over two days easy Hub unified messaging BlackBerry security software IP67 water resistance 5.5-inch 1080p screen 32GB on board, plus a microSD slot Tough glass

Great phone with an unbelievable battery
Great phone if a little overpriced for the specs. The phone is a little big in the hand but that does make typing on the big screen easier than on my previous phone (a galaxy s8).The main thing I bought this phone for is the battery life and it hasn't disappointed. I charge my phone every night as most people do but I cannot drain the battery on this phone in a day regardless of how much YouTube, Spotify, satnav, podcasts or audiobooks I use it for. (Check my photo attached 79% battery at 8:50pm having been taken off the charger at 9am in the morning) My previous galaxy s8 I used on holiday drove me mad, needing to be topped up several times through the day due to using the camera. The mono speaker isnt terrible but it's not the best either and the same goes for the camera. The fingerprint scanner is reliable and the convenience key that allows you to assign 3 different actions to it is well, convenient actually. The internal storage of 32gb isn't really enough so buy 64gb memory card and use the adoptable storage function. (I would have done this but Amazon let me down on my memory card purchase. So much for prime membership)

Excellent phone. Very well built and finished
Excellent phone. Very well built and finished. Would have given 4.5 rather than 5 out of 5, but 4 would be too low. Having been a Samsung and Blackberry user in the past, this really is the best of both. My only niggle is Blackberry's tying in software too tightly with Google rather than standing with their own independent, and more secure option. I didn't like that Blackberry Calendar defaults to back up on Google cloud, and that Password Keeper only back up option is to Google Drive. Fortunately there is a very good 'Local Calendar' app bolt-on from Google Play to enable calendar to store stuff locally so it's a problem easily overcome. Have read some criticism of camera, but compared to my old Samsung, this is a big improvement. Blackberry keyboard is second to none in terms of usability -SO much more intuitive and accurate than Samsung or Apple. Blackberry Hub a great way of keeping all messGes and notifications in one place. And as for the battery - had it going for 2 days or more without charge and not gone below 40% - class leading I would guess. Very good value for money - a top end phone for a mid-range price.

Casing cracks easily but great phone itself
Love the phone itself however considering its supposed to have aluminium casing and diamond djsplay to prevent cracking, I dropped it once and the top of the casing cracked and broke off which was disappointing as I have always had blackberry's and never had this problem. I dropped the DTEK60 on numerous occasions and it was fine.

What a battery!
My third BlackBerry now (Z10 and Passport) and have only moved on to android as I needed certain apps. This thing has an amazing battery. Take it off charge 7am and it won't need charging until 11pm the following day - no exaggeration at all. It's slick, it works, it doesn't lag. Bang on. On the negative side I don't have a case for it yet so it can get quite slippery and slidey and the camera can be a little iffy to focus at times. Overall it feels like a flagship device at half the price. What a battery though! Review for BlackBerry Motion not KeyOne.

so far so good, been using the Blackberry Motion for about four ...
First Android phone and also first Blackberry! so far so good, been using the Blackberry Motion for about four weeks now and the phone looks and feels really nice, plus the added Blackberry features and security are great too. Still learning the Android or (the Google) way but getting there. For for me personally, who is someone NEVER likely to fall into the iPhone - Samsung tribe No chance! (I've bought cars for less!!) This Blackberry will do everything I need it too and does it well and for a long time, its battery! charge it every 2 days!! brilliant!, Defiantly recommend this phone.
