Have given several of the Eugy animals as gifts, they are always well received.

Once my child discovered these, she loved them. She's excited to collect a bunch. They don't take an excessive amount of time. Some of the designs are seriously adorable. They make a nice gift, but be aware it is not a large item. The box is sized a little larger than a card deck.

This little red squirrel cardboard puzzle is absolutely "aww" worthy! It has a vibrant fox-red coloration to the main body, with cream and brown accents. One think I found especially endearing about this Eugy puzzle is how the layering of the cardboard puzzle gives the tips of the ears and tail of the finished product a super cute and fluffy appearance. The tail appears very round and full, and the unit stands well on its own. Despite being made of cardboard, it has a nice weight to it, and it feels durable when fully assembled. The eyes stay in place well, but I still like to put a bit of glue in the socket before applying the eyes, just to ensure they stay in place.Taking my time, relaxing, and talking to a friend while putting together this little kit, it took me around 30 minutes. The cute little squirrel facts on the outer cardboard of each assembly piece also made for nice conversation. I don't think I'd recommend this particular eugy puzzle to small children or people with poor eyesight, as some of the included cardboard pieces you have to glue on are very small, such as the tips of the ears, and the last segment of the back feet. The only real issue I have with this particular model is that he sometimes ends up leaning back on his haunches rather than sitting on his feet, because of how weighty his tail is.Overall, I'm pleased with this cute little squirrel. He'll make a lovely little display piece for me, as I love animals, and am a huge environmentalist. I'd definitely consider ordering another of these in the future for a loved one who I think would benefit from a relaxing, simple puzzle, and the resulting cute little squirrel figure.

I picked up similar 3D paper craft puzzles of animals when I was traveling in New Zealand in 2017. I gave them as gifts to coworkers, friends, and family, and the puzzles proved to be a huge hit. Everyone asked where they could get more, and I started feeling badly that I hadn’t bought a few puzzles for myself. So I’m very pleased to have found these EUGY puzzles on Amazon. I’m not sure if this is the same brand as I had purchased while on vacation, but I’m very pleased, nonetheless.The puzzle is relatively straightforward to assemble, and once assembled, it is very cute and fun to display as it always generates interest. The printing is good quality, and the cardboard is sturdy. I love that these puzzles are eco-friendly, which is also a talking point when friends ask about them.These puzzles are Red Dot winners for good reason: the design is impeccable and the maker is thoughtful. Checking out EUGY’s sellers page, I see their “core values are goodwill towards nature and life, refined quality and beautiful design.” I am convinced they live up to these values.

I love these 3D puzzles. They are so creative and challenging enough to keep it fun. I love that you can keep it on the shelf as a cute figurine, or take it apart and start over. Great for unplugging and keeping brains sharp. The squirrel is adorable.

Bought this for my grandkids to do for a fun craft. It was hard to put together! I ended up putting it together. The instructions are on the back of the box and the print was so small I had to use my magnifying glass! Would not recommend and commit me if I ever buy another!
