I liked it so much I did a second purchase and going to do a third. It is very easy to cut. I sew so have rotary cutter which is amazingly easy to get professional cuts. One of the reviews stated it rips easily. Did they use it outdoors instead of indoors? We use it indoors and it works great. Easy to fit and tape with just painters tape. One word of warning though, while painters tape easily removes from most surfaces, it does not remove from this reflective foam. It will tear. Love the reflective light and decrease of heat loss. I even used it on cold walls wit cutting drafts and warmer rooms. We have home extension with lots of windows which are great to look out, but cold in winter even with low e glass. Very happy with this product. Great for interior windows or walls.

Upon removing the product from the large, soft-padded shipping envelope, I noted that it was folded and not in a roll as shown in the listing. Laying the product flat and letting it relax will make most of the folds go away. It is very easy to work with and can be easily cut or trimmed with a sharp knife or scissors. (for those reading this that might be under 10 years old, go ask your mama before using sharp objects... and never, ever run with scissors.) Where was I at? Oh, yeah... There will be a notable reduction in heat when this material is trimmed and fitted for windows. As a bonus, due to the materials used in it's construction, it keeps light out too so, for the day sleepers, it's a dream come true! Generous size (4' X 10') allows for just about any window sizes. It comes with a lot of Velcro sticky pads as well to complete installation(s). Nice buy at a very reasonable cost. Recommended to all!

Great easy to use some of the Velcro stickies don’t stick but they give plenty to help with that. Keeps heat from leaving through the windows, so works well and Velcro makes is easy to take on and off.

Works but...came folded and not rolled like you'd purchase in the store. Without measuring difference, this foil is a little thinner than I've used in the past on a roll. We cut it for each trailer window and finished off the edges with foil tape. Tip for RVer's, we found attaching a small paper binder clip under several window frame screws made an excellent mounting point to hold the foil in place without movement.

Stops heat from coming through window. During the hot summer days, this product kept a room comfortable. It's very easy to install. I have a west facing large bay window and it has always been beastly hot in the summer. I purchased this product and immediately the room was comfortable to be in. I don't know how many degrees it reduced the heat but it felt like a 15 degree drop in temperature at least. I put it up on the window during the hottest time of the day. Then when the sun is low, I pull lightly and it drops gently to the floor. It's a light plastic product so there are no sharp edges.

Mine arrived folded and not rolled but it didn’t affect the product at all. I used it to insulate houses for feral cats and I’m happy with it for that. Fast shipping was a big bonus. Thank you.

This is not thick enough, so if you are using to block light as well as insulate, get something thicker.

Use it in my camper van for the windows. Works really well to block out heat or keep heat in when it's colder.

Love this stuff. Our bedroom in west facing and above an all brick garage. The sun pouring in, even with blackout curtains caused our bedroom to heat up. This thermal barrier reduced heat by 90%. Easy to cut to size and comes with handy velcro stickers

It is folded not rolled, which is not ideal. No size on the package, so I will have to see how big it is when I get it opened at our trailer.

The product was not what it showed. It came in a bunch of chunks and some of them had cuts in them. Worst product ever and false advertising
