Manhattan Toy Wimmer-Ferguson Infant Stim-Mobile for Cribs

Could not recommend this toy more. Has been keeping my newborn now infant entertained and mesmerised for hours. You can change the cards as the baby gets older, so it offers variety.

This mobile is brilliant. I love that it has years of baby research behind it and the cards can be changed as your baby's eye sight improves with age. The length of it is also adjustable so can be moved closer or further away from baby. It seems to be well made. Arrived quickly. Although it's not much for adults to look at and isn't your typical bright, fluffy animal mobile, I cannot recommend it enough! My 6 week old baby is fascinated by it! I can really see him trying to focus on the pictures.

This is a nice thing, and does interest my baby and can sometimes distract him for a few minutes during a screaming fit. However, i would say it certainly is not worth £25 so that is why ive removed one star. may be worth looking at alternatives with a cheaper price tag?

Absolutely brilliant, baby LOVES this. Good distraction in the day while too young to stay in cot. The pictures really attract baby's attention. Highly recommended.

First mobile and great for very young baby. Lots of black and white which new born babies look at.

At first it was very difficult to assemble as two picture holders can't be linked easily.. little plastic things just doesn't go in to each other and I had to melt one to force it in.. Pictures are nice but folling time to time .. Overal it's nice but too much trouble for these money

This is a great mobile! My daughter will always lay happily watching it for a good while. Much better than a fluffy one as the colours and prints really stimulate.

Nice product, very simple to assemble. Can change the discs as baby develops. Only suitable for cribs with bars, doesn't fit our snuzpod.

生後１ヶ月半の娘の為に購入。可愛さはないが、低月齢の赤ちゃんは興味津々でじっと観察してくれるので、一人で遊んでもらうのに助かる。ベビーベッドにつけると遊んで寝ないことがあったので、寝るときには外す必要があるときもあった。外にあまり連れ出せない新生児の時期の目の発達に良さそうだと感じた。あくまでうちの子の反応で、他の子に試す機会はなかったが…。

Mon fils de 4 semaines à été tout de suite attiré dès que le mobile est posé. Il peut être occupé pendant un petit moment c’est vraiment super. Après le seul bémol pour moi c’est que comme il bouge pas, on est obligé de faire bouger le mobile à la main pour pas que bébé se fixe toujours sur la même carte.

Originally I bought this mobile just for its arm, since I needed one to hang a bird mobile I had received and this was about the same price as just a mobile arm. However, I have loved all parts of this! It was so easy to attach to the crib (thanks to the other reviewer about not tightening the knob too tightly, that probably saved me from breaking the rectangular plastic piece), the adjustability of the hanging length is nice, and I love the pictures. It's great that there are some for different ages and they're super easy to switch out. I've actually put the bird mobile away until my wee one is older, since she loves looking at these pictures so much. In fact, I take the mobile off at night so she isn't distracted; this is also very easy to do since the top piece slides off the base easily. I've also put the two extra pictures plates up next to her changing table and she loves babbling to them as I change her diaper. I'm very pleasantly surprised with how happy I am with this purchase.

Our baby loves to stare at this mobile! Unlike many on the market the images face the baby directly. The only drawback is it doesn’t move on its own - but our son is content to stare at it even if it’s not moving! There are shapes and patterns for different ages too which is amazing.

My baby has been enjoying it from the first weeks of life! Even now that he is four months. Everyone comments on how alert and focused his eye sight is, as he looks around too well for a baby his age. I partly believe this mobile helped with his eye development. As it is recommended for acting as an aid in making the eye sight sharper due to the mobiles design... all images are high contrast. All babies see black and white, on the first months of their lives. This helps boost their development. This is ideal and not one of those pointless mobiles that just look pretty to the parent but ultimately are useless for the baby and it’s development. Also, one of the images on it, that my baby stares at continuously is that of a baby face, my baby laughs out loud every single day by looking at the baby’s face! He loves it that much.
