Fixed my mini fridge, works fine and temperature is consistent. Follow other reviews for proper wiring. Used to replace a 2 pin thermostat. This is for a 3 pin but you can use it, I did and works fine.

I have the aforementioned fridge above, I got it when it was newly introduced for $177 which was a steal. The thermostat didn’t work right from day one. Wouldn’t cool the fridge below 40 degrees which was not acceptable as the minimum temperature for refrigeration is 40 degrees. I adjusted the screw on the thermostat as per the service manual…. Still didn’t fix it. I dealt with adjusting again and again for a year until I looked for the part, and found it was unobtanium. A bit of research led me to this thermostat: it can do light cooling for the first 1/3 of its adjustment, and for the further part of the turn, but about 1/8 a rotation from Max, it does refrigeration quite well, the last 1/8th of a turn is freezing, froze my iced tea gallon solid along with everything else in the fridge, so this is a real all purpose cooler/fridge/freezer thermostat. It’s well built and grounded as the original ones are, so the safety is good. The value for the price is phenomenal, I am purchasing 2 more spares.

I purchased this to replace a WPF27.5S-923 thermostat on my Haier mini fridge. It was a 2-pin thermostat vs this one being a 3-pin so I knew I wouldn't be using one of the pins but didn't know which. So I followed the drawing on this ad, being confused by the "heating" label on the third pin. So I used an ohm meter and checked to see which pins had continuity when the thermostat was turned to the off position (fully counterclockwise) and found that the two pins labeled "Input" & "Compressor" were a closed circuit. This explains the problem the other reviewer had with the compressor not turning off and freezing everything. I made an edit to the drawing and posted it with this review showing what pins I connected the input and compressor wires to. The ground wire (usually green) doesn't go to any of these copper pins, rather the steel pin on the opposite side of the thermostat (see pic). Also, seeing this is just a relay switch, it doesn't matter if you switch the input & compressor wires (black & white on my fridge) just don't connect the green ground wire to any of the copper pins or it will direct short and blow your breaker. Now that I have it wired up properly, it's working great, keeping my bottled water cold with the thermostat dial at 3. Hope you found this review helpful.

Product didn't work for me. I am an electrical engineer and know how this part works. The other poster who posted the correct connection diagram was right. The left top and right middle terminals are the switched terminals. The part I received cut on at an appropriate temperature but would not cut off unless you tap the side of the part. The relay contacts are sticking closed on it (proved by tapping on it allows them to release). I would not recommend this product. It's a shame Whirlpool considers their compact refrigerators disposable and you have to search out cheap Chinese knock off parts on Amazon or Ebay.

One of our mini-fridges stopped cooling, and I was afraid we'd have to replace it. A quick peruse of Amazon, this little doohicky, along with a *very handy husband fixed it right up ! Fridge is running like a champ, and I'm super pleased ! *very handy husband not included, therefore, some results may vary.

Item was packaged very well and was the exact fit for my application.

I purchased this for a replacement for the WDF-24. Once I installed it, did a continuity check, then plugged in the fridge, it worked like a charm and has been purring away now for over a week!!

This thing is weird, it doenst startnthe fridge after a defros cycle. Fordge reach desire température, but, dont start again
