1. Who is this headset for? A price-conscious customer who needs a budget Bluetooth headset for taking calls and listening to music and does NOT need very high-quality sound. 2. Who will this headset not work for? If you're looking for a product with world-class sound quality, you're in the wrong place and are looking at the wrong price point. 3. My budget is ₹1500-1800. Is this headset worth buying? YES! Go for it with your eyes closed. You will NOT FIND A BETTER alternative unless you order from AliExpress. 4. Is it difficult to install? It took me 10-12 minutes to shove the earpiece inside my helmet and to get going. The battery was charged 100% out of the box. You will need a screwdriver to loosen the screws for the mount. I have an SMK Titan helmet with the sun visor clip on the left, so I HAD to install the device on the right with the L-R speakers reversed. This is not a big deal. The device works fine. 5. What does this headset do best? For ₹1599, this headset does a LOT. A. Call quality: You can make or receive calls quickly and with excellent quality. I tested this with my friend's Blue Armour headset, which costs 10k, and the call audio quality of this Bluetooth headset is 9.5/10. We swapped our helmets to check how calls sounded on both devices, and I could not make out the difference except that BlueArmour had a bit better audio quality from the headset due to its JBL speakers and mic. Not bad for a device that is 1/5 of the price. B. Music Quality You can listen to music without problems. The audio quality is not GREAT, but it is passable. Listening to music at high volumes is distracting, so low-quality sound is better in some ways that you do not want to crank it up. Rock music, classical music, and most other forms of music sound OK at 50% volume. Over that, it becomes too loud, and I cannot hear people honking behind me, so there is no point. The music quality is 6/10 to 7/10. Rock or metal music sounds horrible at high volumes. Music with a lot of bass won't sound great because the headphones lack bass. C. Battery life: Battery life is exceptional. The initial, out-of-the-box charge lasted me well over 14 hours (2 days of riding 8-12 hours each, with music on at least 70% of the time). I also took about 8-10 calls. Standby time is excellent. We spent about 8 days in Zanskar and Changthang without connectivity, but the headset battery level stayed at 70%, which is the amount it drained on day one from Chandigarh to Manali. I would rate battery life at 10/10 because my friend's BlueArmour headset needed a charge on day 1 as it had drained down to 30%. Both batteries retained the charge well during the ride. 6. Does this have Bluetooth communication or mesh technology for interacting with other riders without calling? No. This is a cheap, 1500-1800 rupee headset. It does NOT have usable Bluetooth communication (the Bluetooth communication range is less than 50m). It does NOT have mesh technology to communicate with other riders. For that, look at MyTVS, which costs around ₹9000 and is a BlueArmour clone made by BlueArmour here: https://amzn.eu/d/9phPQ5Z 7. Does calling work OK with open-face helmets? Is there enough noise cancellation? There is a BIT of wind noise with open-face helmets or modular helmets. With a full-face helmet, you will not have ANY PROBLEMS making calls. This headset does have noise cancellation, but then, for ₹1599, it can only do so much. That being said, for the price, the call quality is EXCEPTIONAL. 8. How long does it take to charge it? It took me 1.5 hours to charge it from 0-100% 9. Did you face any problems with the headset? Yes. Pressing the power button too long changes the voice interface from English to Chinese. Here's How you can fix it: If your Bluetooth is on and connected, turn it off. If it is already off, keep it as it is. Reset the Bluetooth headset by pressing the big button (call answer/disconnect/power) until the red and blue lights flicker simultaneously. The flickering of red and blue lights indicates that Bluetooth is reset. Now press the call answer/disconnect/power) button twice quickly. You will hear instructions in English again. Done.

I’ve been using this Bluetooth helmet headphone for over a year now, covering more than 13,000 km with it, so I’m in a good position to say — just go get it. The music quality is acceptable, actually very good for the price. Calls are clear, and the battery lasts around 5 hours of continuous music. The module is waterproof and dustproof. It’s not an intercom, but if you want to talk while riding, just start a WhatsApp call — I’ve been doing that, and it works fine. This is great if you travel solo and want something to keep you company on long highway rides. One good thing: the speaker volume isn’t so high that it blocks outside noise, so you remain aware of your surroundings even with music playing at higher volumes. I’ve also used it for Google Maps navigation in unfamiliar cities, which has reduced the distraction of checking my phone screen. Overall, it’s a solid product. The only real upgrade from here would be a full intercom system, which usually costs over ₹8,000.

These OTOROYS Headphones ROCK! Okay, so I've been looking for a good set of Bluetooth headphones for my motorcycle helmet for ages. I'm a solo rider and I wanted a helmet speaker to listen to music and taking calls during ride. I wasn't looking for a mesh/ intercom system. This product fits my requirement perfectly and is priced very reasonably. It also has IP67 Dust and Water resistance. I have done a couple of rides in the rain and there has not been any problem with the device. The audio quality is good enough. Neither bad nor too good. Nothing to complain. Call quality is good too as long as the speed is below 80 kmph. Beyond that, there is a lot of wind noise that makes calls inaudible. Over 100 kmph, music too becomes less audible. While this problem is also dependent on the quality of helmet, it is fine because at higher speeds, one must have undivided attention on the road. Expensive systems may have better sound quality. But the premium is mostly for features that I'm unlikely to use. The product is also designed well in that it allows you to place the helmet properly on a hard surface. My previous speaker was badly designed as the speaker/ charging connector was right at the bottom of the clip which attaches to the helmet, so keeping the helmet on a flat surface meant that it will put pressure on the connector and damage it. Mine did get damaged like that. This one has a much better design and doesn't have this problem.

Product was very good but this product will fix for few helmets only and after 69kph u can’t here any sound for riders this is not good This us for who all wats drive in a traffic like Bangalore

well first it came and sound felt a bit low , short battery backup and after a month it stopped working . had not much hope but after contacting the seller told me to send the the product via post (did the same and had to pay around 250 extra ) but within two week they sent a brand new one . this one works better good sound longer battery backup . satisfied . note for the seller:- wish you guys could upgrade the charging port to c ,would save you the cost of the extra cable and for us we would be able to charge using our mobile charging cable .

I have been using this product for the last two weeks, and the overall impression is too good. My experience is noted down below. Pros: 1. Easy to install on any helmet that supports Bluetooth earphones 2. The mic quality is good. 3. It has a decent battery. I haven't charged it for the last 2 weeks (30 minutes of daily usage). 4. The speakers are also good. You can hear the noise of other vehicles while driving. 5. For this product range, it's too good when compared with other products on the market. 6. It gives a 1-year warranty. 7. After disconnecting from the mobile, it will automatically power off. Cons: 1. The sound from both speakers isn't 50-50. I can say the right speaker produces 60% of the sound and the left side produces 40%. 2. When connected to the mobile, you are not able to power off the device without disconnecting. Check for the above issue before and after installing.The product I initially received was producing 80% from the right speaker and only 20% from the left speaker.I returned the defective product and got a new one. Note: There is no warranty card inside the box, and they didn't mention the steps for activating the warranty. If you want to activate warranty support at Rahdeep.com, send your invoice to this email address. (The seller will activate the warranty.) Final Note: Initially, I received a defective product, but Amazon replaced it with a new one. I faced some challenges while activating the warranty because I wasn't aware of the procedure.But the seller activated the warranty by replying to my email at the earliest. In this price range, when compared with other brands like JB Racing, etc. this product has a warranty and waterproof feature, which is too good. Overall, the product exceeded my expectations.

This product is not so great for calling for music. Also, it’s very low volume. You can’t hear anything if you are in a traffic or you are in a 60 70s speed. Though the my qualities is great, but the speakers qualities is dull, you can’t hear anything. That’s it. Not a great product to buy instead go for higher ends. Don’t fall for cheap products like what I did.
