Vita Crunch Vita Crunch Granola, Almond, 22 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Have loved this for 15 years and then was no longer able to buy at local supermarket. Good for blending with Quaker Oats, Almonds and Honey as it's not as sweet yet not flavorful enough by itself. Another good thing is that it is not loaded up with cinnamon, etc so your fruit shines through!

This is a great product -- but when it came in bags (at approximately the same cost) there was substantially more in each package. It's yet another example of ripping consumers off.

I regularly purchased this product from a local market many years ago and then it went missing. The manager said it was discontinued. Being tech savey I went on the Internet, found the manufacturer and for several years purchased it directly from them. Then a little over a year ago I learned that they were no longer shipping it to consumers, but that it was available on Amazon. Easy fix, now I get it from Amazon. Regarding the product, I just like it. It's not saturated with sugar, it is CRUNCHY and it meets my needs. I like Vita Crunch and always like doing business with Amazon.

This comes in a reasonable sized box and the cereal is tasty enough. It has some weird puffed cereal things floating around in there that are not all that delicious and kinda like a puffed sugary cornflake...no fruit or nuts...not exactly a favorite..

I was so excited when I found this product on Amazon because I have been making their recipe for granola cookies since the early 70's. In the past few years, it has been harder to find this product on the grocery shelves, and I have substituted other granola's with good, but not great results. These cookies should be the most delicious, cookie you can imagine. So when the Vita Crunch arrived I couldn't wait to bake a batch. After they were barely cool enough to try, I took a bite, ready to savor the clove and nutmeg flavors that usually dance in my mouth. Instead, there was an overwhelming taste of almond flavoring,with bad cherry undertones, completely cancelling the other flavors, and even worse coated my tongue with this chemical like taste that lingered for about 20 minutes. It must be my imagination, I though. I tried to eat more , hoping that they would magically change to the taste that is embedded in my DNA by now, but had the same results. My husband and daughter both agree, that WE WILL NOT BE USING THIS PRODUCT EVER AGAIN. I went to Trader Joe's bought their brand of Vanilla Almond Granola and made a very good cookie, not perfect, but close to that amazing cookie that I will have to keep alive in my memory. Any one want to buy 5 boxes of Vita Crunch?

Great basic ingredients - - less sugar compared with most granola cereals. Yum!
