My mum is bedbound and has a catheter in situ, but this by-passes and leaks. We were using the great big pads (the adult nappies) for over a year and they were so uncomfortable and sore for my poor mum. I saw these, thought I would just try them, as they were so inexpensive (a 1/4 of the price of her other ones). And they are excellent! I didn't expect much to be honest, as they were so thin, just like a thin sanitary towel. But they collect any by-passing of wee, no problem at all. If mum has to wait overnight for the carers to change the pad, there is no odour and my mum is feeling dry. It's been a game changer for her - no feeling sore and having to wear a huge bulky pad. Brilliant!

EDIT - Unfortunately, the new supply of these pads is nowhere as good as the old: they are thinner, shorter and less absorbent. They are advertised as 33cm/13” long, but (as you can see from the photo) they are closer to 28cm/11”. The result is that they no longer hold anything other than the tiniest leaks, which has been very inconvenient. So I’m now on the hunt again for pads that actually WORK. . . These pads are the most absorbent and best value I have found. They are a little longer and thicker than a standard period pad, but still discrete and comfortable enough. They will absorb several small leaks or even a fairly full bladder. They draw liquid away from the skin, and are soft, unscented and not irritating to wear. I tried several other brands while these were out of stock, but all of them were more expensive and none of them were anything like as good, so I’m pleased to be able to buy them again. Photo shows this pad below another leading brand which is more like a panty liner, for comparison.

ABENA Light Incontinence Pads, Eco-Labelled under £8 for 30 pks. I normally purchased my Tena Pads alongside my supermarket grocery online. But just happen to be my elderly family member needs this. So give this brand a go. It works out approx 26 pence each. So it won't cost the patient a fortune just for these incontinence. It might not be as thick as the Tena Max Night Pad, but it still very absorbance for those of whom has incontinence issue. Although my family member didn't like this. However I dont have to panic when my Tena pads ran out next time and I could get this brand from Amazon instead. Unless it's just the right time alongside my Vegan Groceries, otherwise minimum basket charge plus delivery fee on top of the pads, which could be another £10 easily. I bought these for my mum when she came to visit. She often has a small accident when we're out & about and can't get to a toilet quick enough. These worked very well for her, good absorbancy & no leakage. They are a good size and very comfortable despite the size. Some brands have a funny smell, but not this brand. A+++!

These are massive too big because I broke open package felt I couldn’t return them, far too big

I had been using always discreet sensitive bladder pads previously but the perfume was really irritating me so I set about trying to find a reasonable priced unscented pad and found these on Amazon. so I thought I would give them a try as they were a good price + had some good reviews. they're ok but sadly they aren't very sticky and you end up with the back of the pad twisted up and squashed in the back of your knickers or I end up having to peel the pad off one of my legs.. I do take care to press them down very firmly against my pants when I put a fresh pad on but it makes no difference- they still start moving and twisting up within an hour or so which defeats the object as you've no pad covering where you need it to be if you have a leak. such a shame as a good pad otherwise.

Currently suffering from bronchitis and a heavy coughing fit will make me pee myself (sorry to be blunt!) Decided to try these and they are perfect. Huge pads! Nappyesque! But that is what I needed! I was terrified of publicly disgracing myself but now have no fear. Excellent "stickage" to underwear.

Both the Pads 1 and 1Plus are used and found to be good. Suggestion: The difference between them may need to be indicated clearly, for the customer to enable to chose appropriately. Pads 1 are good, but increase in length by 1-2'' may further improve their functionality.
