A great travel journal for kids. Games and activities inside as well as lots of pages to write memories and draw

Bought for my son’s first trip away from home with the school. Great little book with lots of relevant questions and prompts so it’s so easy to make a lovely diary of their trip without it being to much like homework.

This is a wonderful idea to keep little ones occupied from time to time on holiday. My daughter was delighted when I present a copy of this holiday to each of my granddaughters at 8 and 5½ years old who are off to Majorca for a two week holiday. It is full of ideas of what to record and has room for pictures etc. My children back in the day had to make do with an empty scrapbook and our combined imaginations. This is a brilliant improvement.

I bought it for my 10 year old som when we went to Kenya on a safari. Its a great tool, every day my son was writing down his impressions of the day, adding some stickers. Im very happy with the purchase

Ideal to keep the kids occupied during holidays

I bought this for my 7 year old to encourage him to write about his holidays whilst away. The book is excellent and jammed packed full of things to complete. I recommend starting it early as there are pages on where you are going, useful contacts, who is going with you, what you would like to see and do, an itinerary. There is a packing checklist which enables you to add some extra things. Space to write about when you are going, how you are getting there, where you stayed, who you met and a daily journal for 2 weeks. Interesting food you ate, shopping and even some travel games and free writing. We went away for 3 weeks and did a little of it when we got back and missed some days. It worked really well and it was a great journal to complete. I would recommend it for any child between 7 and 10. There is even a pocket at the back to store postcards and tickets.

This was a massive hit with our 8 year old son when we went on a trip to Asia & Australia. A pocket at the back for keeping tickets, receipts and leaflets in, fun puzzle pages interspersed amongst diary recording days. Son really enjoyed thinking about the emoji's to circle at the bottom of each day. Photo pages, highlights, gift recording - lots to help them think about his trip. It's a super keepsake and one of the best journals we have come across. Highly recommend! (Max two week recording space)

Surprisingly perfect for a 10-14 day trip. I had to nag my 7 year old to fill it up everyday, but I'm sure he'll come to appreciate it and make it a habit in future trips.

Bought this for a 2.5 week vacation in Europe and LOVED it! In addition to brief journaling each day there were fun activities to engage my little in during long car rides that will also help him remember special times on our trip. The games weren’t something I thought we’d use but they were great for occupying our drive long time! There’s even a pocket in the back to hold mementos (we mostly used it to store postcards). I also love that it had space for pre-trip planning plus post-trip activities, which helped solidify our memories. Definitely recommend this for young travelers! I think it would work well for age 4-7 with grownup help and ages 8-13 who can read and write on their own.

I bought 2 of this. One was fine, and the other was used!! It was a present. When my nephew went to write in it found a few pages with writing and scribbles like shown in the photo. He was so disappointed.

Love this travel diary. Bought as a gift and a couple for my kids. Entertains the kids while travelling, prompts them to write in various ways. We brought one to the Disney World and got some signatures from the princesses + characters on the diary. Great keepsake book!

We took a family trip to Hawaii, and I wanted to get my six year old a travel journal that could help him document his trip and also practice writing while we were gone. I had looked at a few online and ended up choosing this one because of the high reviews, variety of "activities" and just the overall impression I got from reading about it vs others. I was really pleased with it! It is certainly great for my six year old (he reads and writes well for a Kindergartener), though I would say if your child isn't a strong writer, this might not be the greatest option...as you're paying for a prompt filled book! Certainly some Kinders and 1st grade on up would get benefit from it. It has a lot of great spaces to write about all facets of a trip. Some examples: *A page to write where are you going & who is coming with you *Trip itinerary pages *Detailed journal pages (which include "rating" happy faces and check boxes so they can rate the day) *"Top 10" page for them to write the top things they experienced *State/Location information page about interesting stuff about the place they're vacationing *Games for travel There are certainly other things, but these were the ones my son liked the best. It was fun to help him review each day and write a sentence or two about what we did and how he felt...but certainly it could be more independent for older kids. I'd say the ideal range would be 6 to 12/13. It was a great investment and he'll have it to keep and remember forever!
