LoVe Wondercide's anti-pest products!!!
Wondercide has a great line of pest control products that absolutely "can't be beat" in terms of safety and effectiveness!! Two key features that mean the most!! Safe around children, and most pets(high ⚠️ caution around birds, due to their sensitive respiratory; product has strong scents. Asthma among humans "could" also be triggered, but doubtful, as I and my sons have a history of asthma and I use this product regularly). This natural, plant oil based pest killer also repels pests from returning. Must periodically repeat application as oils eventually dissipate. Affordable as it is effective; have successfully relied on this product for years! Highly recommend!!

It works!
This stuff works. I live in Texas and I got sugar ants in my office space. Probably because my cats eat (messily) right next to my desk and computer. I needed a pet safe option. Not only does this stuff smell pretty nice, it kills them on contact and wipes out any chemical trails they use. In Texas, no matter how clean you are, no matter how well maintained your home or space is, no matter what kind of pest control or exterminator service you might or might not use - you will get bugs. Spring and summer are infamous for it. They flourish. During the heat of the summer, they come inside for moisture and food. During the cooler spring and fall, they come in because there are so damn many of them they need more space. My dismay at seeing a line of sugar ants marching across my desk was long-suffering, because I knew it would take WEEKS to get rid of them with boric acid or other traps and I would have to keep the cats out of that space while they ants died. A little research, and I found Wondercide. I used it as a cleaning spray basically - wiping down surfaces with it. I also sprayed it along the window, outside the house, and along baseboards. I wiped down the walls with it. It took a few applications to get rid of them all, but as I sprayed the line of sugar ants marching back and forth with crumbs of kitty food, they died as the spray hit them. And four or five applications of this later, they were all gone and I didn't have to move the cats. The scents used means the cats weren't interested in licking it or getting into it, but the scent was not enough to put them off their food. Great stuff. It works. I have NO idea how it would work for an infestation of more aggressive/bigger ants or the larger waterbug roaches we get here in Texas. I *do* know that it took care of the fruit flies and drain flies my friend got in their apartment after their (former) roommate created a disaster here recently. I will be using this going forward.

Pricey, somewhat effective for smaller problems.
I like that this is kid and pet friendly. Nice fragrance. However, it is not a sufficient solution for larger problems. Also, it is very pricey.

This stuff works, and it works good!
I recently moved into an older home surrounded by nature, with a lot of crevices for critters to enter, and the basement in particular had LOTS of uninvited guests. Everything from the standard basement-dwelling cave crickets that appear to be on growth hormone, to spiders (my NEMESIS), to these mutant beetle roach looking hybrids that look like they were manufactured in Satan’s workshop to form an army, I even found a centipede?! To put it lightly, I am absolutely not fond of bugs, I scream like I’m trying out for the lead role in a low budget slasher film, I cry, I threaten arson, and I find the nearest adult who is adultier than me to squash and dispose of the offending bug. I searched high and low for a solution that would kill the small demons, prevent future attacks from Satan’s soldiers, and also not poison my kids in the process. I purchased this a few weeks ago and it has been a LIFESAVER. It really does work, it smells really nice (I got lemongrass, I’m going to try a different scent when this bottle runs out), and I can spray it without worrying about myself or my kids inhaling dangerous fumes. I sprayed the perimeter of the entire basement, and then areas where I tended to see the most bugs. It has definitely reduced the amount of bugs, and the scent lasts a while so I don’t reapply until it has completely worn off. I also use it to kill them on the spot when I see one. Because it’s an essential oil based spray it doesn’t work “immediately” like a Raid type spray would - it takes a minute or two to basically suffocate the bug, you have to coat it and then watch them squirm. Sometimes they will be sprayed in one spot and continue to crawl away as they slowly suffer, so they end up dying in a different spot. I’ve yet to have one sprayed that didn’t die. Same goes for flying insects - as long as I hit them with the spray they’re goners, but they may continue to fly for a minute or two before they eventually drop to their doom. Keep in mind this is an oil based spray, so it’s a little thicker of a liquid - it still sprays like a mist would, but when that mist settles it’s much more “wet” than standard bug poison sprays. I just wipe away any residual overspray. Always spot test, I sprayed near painted walls and you can still see the drips where the product ran down, but I’m okay with that as a trade off for a mostly bug free home. Overall I highly recommend, especially if you’re a huge oversized child who’s scared of something microscopic like I am. I will definitely continue to buy! PS: although this is labeled for indoor use I did use this outside out of desperation one night, after my toddler got 30+ mosquito bites the previous night. I sprayed the surfaces of the porch furniture, the ground of the porch, and a small perimeter. It got the job done and definitely reduced the amount of bites we got. BUT I did use up way more spray that way so I probably wouldn’t do it regularly, I need to conserve the bottle. I wish this came in a spray for human bodies.

Seems to work on closet moths, too
We moved into a new house and discovered it came with closet moths. We bought lots of those pheromone traps and caught lots of moths—hundreds!—which seemed encouraging at first, but after six months, the population didn't seem to have gone down at all. Every time I checked the traps, they would be full. Catching lots of adult moths doesn't solve the problem if their larvae, which eat your clothes, are still there, and all those adult moths had to be coming from somewhere. I didn't want to expose my family to poisonous sprays or vapors, so even though the label on this product didn't say it would work on moth eggs or larvae, I gave it a try. I sprayed the floors and corners of all the closets. Since then, the traps have had fewer and fewer moths in them each time. Where previously there would have been fifty, I would now find one or two. It’s been two months now. I continue to spray every couple of weeks, and the traps are consistently empty or almost empty. I'm going to keep spraying and I feel confident we'll get it down to zero.

Doesn’t really work
i ordered this item because it was natural and I work often and was worried about my cats getting sick from strong chemicals and me not noticing due to work. I tried using this for a mild flea infestation and to be honest, it just didn’t really work. It seemed to irritate my cats more than anything, they stopped using the cat tree I sprayed with it. The peppermint smell is strong and my air purifier was not happy about it. Would not recommend. Best recommendation is: don’t let your pets get fleas (learn from me!!!)

I was Pessimistic but it works!
I have to say I’m impressed. I live in NYC where pests are like immortal. Takes Superman extermination to get rid of them. I had a fly infestation that started from two or three pests adult flies following me into my apartment and one was pregnant leading to baby flies. After killing so and it just seemed like one would appear right after one died (think pheromones were released) I was becoming traumatized with them tormenting me. I had an exterminator come who had no idea what was the issue. My place is immaculately clean. I didn’t want to use Raid with my 9-year old in the house so I wanted to try something natural. I researched lemongrass essential oil and gave this one a try. Well I doused my house and hallway with it and the flies are gone. I sprayed the last one with this and it succumbed immediately. So far so good! It smells great. Only complaint is the bottle is not that big for the price. It’s a great product though. Scent lingers for about 2 hours.

update: defective lid? Will kill on contact and will repel some won’t kill unseen
We originally got this to use on moths and then also used on ants. We have used smaller bottles in both cedar and lemongrass (which both smell nice) but got the larger bottle to save money. If you spray this on any bug that we have seen it will kill on contact. It will also keep ants off of an area for a while (maybe a week) till the scent clears (less if you clean it with another product after like wipe it off (your kitchen counters). This is people and kitchen safe, natural, and not horrid smelling like many products it works better than most of the other natural stuff we tried. I have sensitive skin and asthma and this dose not bother me. It dose have a strong natural scent so if you are scent sensitive it would probably still bother you but it really smells like what they say (cedar, and lemongrass are the ones we have tried but it think there is also lavender). If you have a big infestation you will probably still need something more toxic and aggressive to get to the source, but this is wonderful in kitchens or near your bed (anywhere you don’t feel safe using the toxic stuff). It also is great supplementing a toxic thing or repellent - repelling if you don’t have an issue (preventative). Don’t spray this directly on delicate white/light colored fabric I used too much on an off white sweater and am still trying to get the stain out, but it seems safe on most things including white walls, most fabrics, all hard surfaces I have tried. Only had one item get stained which was delicate and off white and I sprayed it heavily. UPDATE: I still love the product, but either we got a bottle with a defective cap or their caps just don’t work well. I had only used a little bit to refill a smaller bottle and closed it tightly with the supposedly resealable cap. However, it must have been defective or just not worked well because unbeknownst to us at the time, it got knocked over and slowly (over 1 night) leaked out all over the floor. Good news: we won’t have bugs in that one spot, and didn’t seem to damage the floor at all.. Bad news: most of the $99 bottle was waisted, feels like pouring money down the drain. I am debating buying more because we really do like the stuff but if the larger bottle isn’t really resealable and we need to be careful about never storing it on it's side or knocking it over it has become a stress to store and the smaller bottles are pricey per each. I tried tightening the lid after the fact to see if it was user error and it feels tight but still leaks. It is one of those childproof caps so they can be tricky but the leak was a pretty big flaw. I would have asked the company for a replacement with hopefully better cap but because my return window closed I can’t find a way to contact the seller via Amazon. :-/ MOTHS Advice: If you have moths try to find the source and get rid of, wash and dry fabrics at high heat or freeze (for 3 days at least) everything from that area and use toxic stuff that will kill full lifecycle to clean that closet or spot once everything is removed. Use this product on any moths you see escaping or anywhere else in the house you don’t see moths much at all. In future use airtight bins for any wool, silk, or leather (animal based fibers) they will only eat cotton or synthetics if they are dirty or dusty or to escape from somewhere they aren’t attracted to non animal fibers unless they are dirty or dusty. So if you aren’t actively wearing clothing (off season cloths or dressier cloths and shoes you don’t wear often) store in airtight bins don’t recommend vacuum bags as they can damage clothing and can get musty. Also make sure everything has be freshly cleaned (on high heat or non natural dry cleaning) or frozen before storage (like shoes that can’t go in the washing machine must be frozen for 3 days or longer prior to storage). We fully got rid of our moths without a professional but it was a huge hassle. Using this product with others. ANTS Advice: If you have a real ant issue, get something that will go back to the nest and kill them, and then prevent them from coming back in the house. Usually a bate they bring back to nest that kills plus a monthly or quarterly treatment around the whole edge of house or apartment. Use this product inside the house on any you see and especially around food or bed anywhere the professionals won’t spray as this is non toxic.
