works with MBP Early 2013 Retina version
I have a MacBook Pro Early 2013 Retina which for a while has been giving me battery issues, and won't hold charge long if unplugged, so decided to gamble and buy a new battery for it. This is not OEM, but gets the job done. For me the work I got it to fit was to lined it up correctly where I needed, test it out a few times and then I took out the adhesive from the back and laid it against the Mac softly so I could adjust it left or right as needed to fit the screws toby the connector (the piece that connects the battery to the motherboard). then I added simple pressure to the rest of the pack. Noticed on the pictures that the battery does not cover all the space at the bottom, there is a gap compared to the original battery, however everything else matches up. I did have a bit of trouble getting the connector in, notice your original battery how the connector wires are actually bent to let it fit down, where this , since is new, the connector wires all came straight so at first seems like its he wrong connector or won't fit, but what you have to do is easily bent them down allow it to the connector to fit/click in place ( just take note of how your old battery's connector wire is bent and try to form the shame shame). I used the small plastic stick that came with the package , to help add pressure down to hold the connector wires down while I bent it down with my fingers. Once you get that done and plug it in, no issues. Took about 1hr to full charge. (when I first plugged in it was charged showing at 66%). The instructions recommends you let it drain away to 2% (no 0%) and then do a full charge. Also the battery (as I mentioned above) comes with an adhesive which you remove and makes it stick to the motherboard (above the trackpad), however on top of it there is also a small plastic clear thin film, which you also remove after you are all done, before closing the case. see the pictures of the installed new battery vs my old all swollen battery. On a scale from 1-10 to replace this battery, (1 very easy , 10 very hard), I rate it about a "4" , however removing the old battery itself I rate it a "6". Do be careful when you remove the 2 middle batteries , do it slowly and carefully otherwise you will rip off the metal plate that sits between the trackpad and the battery. I mostly followed the advise of videos I found on line to use a string and put it under and slowly pull/saw left to right to help remove the old battery.

Workeds great
Exactly what I needed and a prefect fit. They DO NOT provide the tools you need. Not an issue for me, but I know that many others might not have the correct bits. 3/6/26

Nice battery!
Fit my laptop I was refurbishing with no issues. Charges now which is great. Very affordable, would certainly consider the same if I ever need.

Reliable Replacement Battery with Decent Life
Reliable Replacement Battery with Decent Life I picked this up as a replacement battery for an older HP EliteBook, and it’s been performing well overall. The fit was spot-on—no wiggling or forcing required. The laptop recognized it right away and charged up without issue. On a full charge, I’ve been getting a respectable 3–4 hours depending on workload, which is about what I’d expect from a fresh aftermarket battery in a machine of this age. Build quality feels solid, and the casing doesn’t creak or flex when installing or removing it. The charge holds steady without sudden drops, and standby drain overnight is minimal. One thing I did notice is that it tends to run a little warm if the laptop is pushed hard for a long time, but not to the point of concern. Longevity is still a question mark since I’ve only had it a short while—these third-party batteries can sometimes fade faster than OEM. Bottom line: A good, reasonably priced replacement option if you need to breathe new life into an older HP laptop, just keep in mind that long-term durability may vary.

Battery works great; I needed my own tools
Worked perfectly on an old A1706. The tools it comes with didnt work with my laptop screws on the inside, but I had a separate set of tools that did fit the inside fasteners. Also you'll need some sort of credit card sized plastic piece to pry the glue away from the factory battery. Best to check youtube for removal and install instructions. Very happy with the battery!

Low price with an even smaller life cycle....
I bought this battery for a laptop I have had for 16 years. When I first got the battery it worked great for the first time in 8 years I could charge my laptop and use it. The battery fit perfectly, and snapped right into place like it should. About a month into using the new battery my laptop stopped charging. I never noticed it heating up or getting hot, but after one month the battery stopped holding a charge. I checked to see if I could return the battery but it was a week past the return period. So it did work with the HP laptop, and was compatible, and it was great until it wasn't and now I'm stuck with two batteries that don't hold a charge and are worthless. Over all I feel like this was a waste of money, as the life of the battery is very minimal.

Economic solution, but not as good as OEM
It’s an economy solution, but I noticed the battery isn’t as thick as the original battery it came with. It doesn’t state powered up as long as the original battery. Because of the low profile, it might not get as much cooling from the fan. But so far it works.

Great easy fix for razer laptop
Fit my razer laptop perfectly and was easy to install. Battery Life is amazing and back to normal compared to my old battery the laptop had that did not hold a charge for long. Great price, especially if you know how to install it yourself.
