Serrano Ham (Shoulder) Cured Free Range Boneless Approx. 1 Kg - Spanish Jamon All Natural Made with Mediterranean Sea Salt

Great value for money piece of ham. Well cured with a deep flavour, nicely marbled and a generous, tasty, layer of fat on the top. It comes vacuum packed. I was desperate to slice a bit off, , but it tasted a bit soapy initially because of the wrapping. So don't be put off at the first taste of the fat layer, leave it a couple of days and you'll be well happy. I slice a bit off most days and I'm sure it'll last a month. Don't expect pata negra, but it's really tasty.

It was near on impossible to cut and when I got a piece, it had an awful taste. I just threw £15 in the bin. Please don't waste your money.

I bought it twice. The first time the ham came in two pieces and was very fat. The taste was good although. The second time it came in one piece and was meaty (little fat which is great) and very tasty. I would rate it five stars for second order but minus one star for lack of consistency. Packaging was good and flavour was very good as well.

This is absolutely delicious ham. I was surprised that a younger aged ham would have so much flavor packed into it. Compared to the supermarket Spanish packet hams, This is far superior in taste and texture. I was unsure if i was going to be able to slice it without a professional slicing tool, But a sharp knife gave me the nice thin slices i wanted. This is utterly delicious, And moreish in the mouth. It has a smooth texture, Full of inviting flavors that savors on the tongue. It also has a gradual rise of meaty and nutty flavors, With a succulent light delicate flavor. Excellent, Will be buying again!

We use for open sandwiches at lunchtime and to be honest you wouldn't want to eat anything else. But after researching the difference between shoulder and leg we opted for shoulder because it is suppose to have more fat. We thought it would be marbling as it is in beef but this fat is an unnatural thick layer on the outside that you just cut off and throw away. Next time we'll try the leg

Ordered this after reading some good and some not so good reviews. Have to say when it turned up it looked a bit misshapen and miserable . After removing the plastic i could see a good colour although as previous people have said a massive fat to meat ratio. I understand that this is a good indicator of quality however when there is so much fat and 'bone' yes bone when sold as boneless and grissle on a what is already small cut it makes spending £20 pointless. Ive bought similar from lidl and found a similar quality/taste with a more generous edible meat to fat/grissle ratio. I would suggest you go for a bigger cut rather than this if you want to go this way . I may have just had a bad one but from previous reviews its a bit hit and miss . Contact with the seller to put my point forward was rather patronising but there you go.

Ham arrived with a thick layer of brown, inconsistent fat, never a good sign for food. Taking that as inevitable for the product, I carved down to the meat to find that it was borderline black rather than red and, if I didn't know better, would have been rotten. Meat tasted okay, any parts with any fat on however, tasted like formaldehyde. Photo is misleading in how good it looks and with the amount of meat left, would have been better off going to Tescos. Do not be like me and give it a chance because some times meat is inconsistent and maybe, just maybe, your bit won't look like that.

Bought as a Christmas present for my husband and its going down very well. Smaller in size than I thought but it has a lovely flavour and easy to cut as it is boneless. Bought a whole leg previously (from Lidl not from this company) and found that the meat dried out and looked a bit dodgy before we had time to eat it all. This is a good size so you can keep it wrapped in the polythene bag in the fridge, and this time we will eat it all I'm sure, so all in all probabaly better value for us than the whole leg.

Il prosciutto è arrivato deteriorato,addirittura frantumato a metà come nelle foto inserite,è di colore nero, abbiamo provato a fare immediatamente il reso senza aprire la busta che non era neanche sottovuoto,ma non è un prodotto idoneo per il reso, non lo comprate assolutamente buttate 25 euro!!! Ho dovuto mettere una stella ma non meritavano neanche quella, venditore poco serio

Vi har köpt denna skinka många gånger de senaste åren, men skinkan blir sämre och sämre. Nu funderar vi på att slänga den senaste sändningen och vi kommer inte köpa denna någon mer gång.

Wir hatten vorher einen anderen Serranoschinken, von dem auch das Brett ist, das ist bei dieser Lieferung nicht dabei. Dieser Schinken ist von so schlechter Qualität. Der Großteil ist Bitter und scharf. Das "Stück" bricht bald auseinander, es besteht eigentlich aus mehreren kleinen Stücken und ist voll durchzogen. Überwiegend ist er schon gelb und steinhart. Das ist unser zweiter Schinken im allgemeinen, aber ich könnte wetten, dieser ist schon älter. Ich werde hier nie wieder bestellen. Es ist wirklich schade. Es macht einem den Genuss total kaputt. Besser nicht kaufen.
