I bought this to replace a different adapter that stopped charging from the lightning port. I use this as a usb audio interface for ipad running streaming software. Working great so far for a couple of months.

Plugged in portable external usb drive that works on my mac formatted in exfat. iPhone 13 doesn't see it at all. Tried plugging in thunderbolt to second adapter slot for power. Still doesn't detect the drive. Does feel very cheap like it wouldn't last long.

I can easily get pics off my iPhone!

I haven't used it many times, but the few times I have, it's worked great. I have used for a keyboard (non apple) attachment to my iPad and it does exactly what it's supposed to.

First, this OTG camera cable will not connect any USB external drives or USB sticks to our iPads. DOA, basically. Defective! Second, the USB-C female slot on this camera cable is SO small that no USB-C male dongle can even be inserted into it! Too big! You will have to file it with a needle file to make it large enough to function. So, defective in both ways. Returning for refund or credit.
