I both this in a medium and it was too big for me... I had to exchange it for a small and then it was great! The relaxation cd it's great and I played it nights before a gave birth.. Love it

The hospital binder was much more supportive than the binder in the kit. The only peice that I used was the mid binder. That was the only useful piece to the kit. Two stars because the mid binder can be reversed to the other side for a smaller fit when needed.

I ordered this in preparation for the c-section of my second son. I had worn a binder given to me by my OB after my first son was born and, after reading the reviews, decided to try something new. I brought it to the hospital with me and put it on the day after my surgery. The material is SO soft, however the size I ordered was definitely too big for me. I could've gone down a size. It helped put much needed pressure on my incision area and I was up and walking around in no time. As far as the rest of the kit goes, I didn't even bother using the scar brush.

I was on the look for something to help with the bump that's left after delivery. It is a bit pricy, however, I really didn't find anything out there for c-sections. A friend had advised that she had heard of the AbdoMend and heard it was worth trying. I must say that it is great! Not only does it help buffer the c-section area, for me, it helped reduce the swelling and got my stomach flat within 6 weeks. I made sure I had the AbdoMend on the 2nd day after my c-section and had it on for majority of the day for 6 weeks straight. My only complaint is that is stays stretched out (no matter how much you wash and try to shrink it in the dryer) and once you start slimming down, the support belt gets to be a bit too large and the velcro straps do not meet. Really did not want to purchase another belly band, but I may have to 2nd time around. It is true to size.
