high quality, accurate and feels not much different from originals.
The AKNES GULIKit Hall Effect Joystick Replacement is an excellent product. The joysticks feel premium and performs exceptionally well, making them a great upgrade. Personally, I had no issues installing them, but if you’re not experienced with taking apart Joy-Cons, the process can be a bit challenging.

They look just like original sticks
These are a pretty much perfect solution to stick drift. Not too difficult to fit (fiddly though) you just need patience. Once you've done, just remember to calibrate and they work perfectly. It's just a shame joycons don't come with hall effect sticks as standard.

Easy to fit and great customer service
I bought this to fix the dreaded joycon drift. I was a bit worried that it would be difficult to install and, while it is a bit fiddly, there are plenty of YouTube videos to help. By the time I was fitting the fourth one, it was really pretty simple. The ribbons are slightly longer than the stock ones, so that leaves a bit of slack. At first I worried that the end of the ribbon wasn't properly seated in the connector, but it was fine. My only slight gripe was that the supplied tweezers weren't very good. They end in a sharp point, making it difficult to get purchase on the ribbons. I have an iFixit kit, so I used the tweezers from that instead. I would still have preferred a better set of plastic-tip tweezers. As it turned out, one of the sticks was faulty on arrival. Although it registered movement, it was off-centre and the calibration in the Switch menu couldn't be completed for some reason. It wasn't obvious that the stick itself was faulty, since it's to be expected that it will be initially off-centre, and the unresponsive calibration screen felt more like a software issue. However, after posting a question to Reddit, I got a reply from an AKNES representative who arranged for a replacement kit to be sent out to me free of charge. This new kit arrived within a couple of days and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I'm very happy with the new control sticks. They feel great and shouldn't suffer from drift over time. I'm especially happy with the excellent customer service I received. Thanks Jim!

Ended up with the catching stick issue
Bought on launch as needed replacements for a while. Ended up with the faulty batch. The sticks can function but there is an area with more resistance with an audible grind. Doesn't help for sensitive movements. Once made known to the store, they have been in touch to offer me a solution which I am pleased with. The listing should be updated once the new batch has arrived. Also, don't expect the texture on the surface to match stock but I have gotten used to it. It is less grippy than stock but good enough. Not sure if this can be changed easily.

Great kit!
Joysticks fit into place as though they were originals & work perfectly. Kit came with all the required tools as well as replacements for every screw (including cross-head replacements for the exterior screws which are awful tri-wing from factory!) Both screwdrivers were magnetised, making life easier. Only complaint is the plastic tweezers were too chunky and flexible to use easily, I would recomment finding a finer pair if you can.

Not particularly impressed.
I originally bought a pair of these for one of my R36S handhelds (as multiple YouTube reviews said it was a worthy upgrade). While screwing down the first joystick one of the mounting lug split and broke off. This surprised me because the screw head was barely in contact with the lug and hadn't even pulled it fully against the mounting post at that point. I left it fitted with only one lug and installing the second went without a hitch. Eventually, the second lug broke off through use, so I decided to get another set for that handheld, and a second pair for another R36S I have. I swapped all 4 in the two units and was careful to not tighten the screws anywhere near the point where I could call them "Snugged down" like I'd usually do in cheap plastic. They seemed OK at first, but after about a week one of the sticks started to not centre properly, which means that in side scrollers my character was always wandering off in some random direction whenever I let go off the sticks, and in FPS games it made it tricky to walk in a straight line. Luckily, I still had a spare good stick from the first set, and fitting that has (For now) fixed this drifting issue. The real kicker though is that I personally can feel ZERO difference between these hall effect sticks and the originally fitted budget analogue sticks ! So if I have anymore problems with these I'm just going to refit the originals. They don't feel to be worth anything like the price in my mind, and I'd probably have given the product 1 star, but as I'm not using them in one of the devices they're sold for (Though the R36S is made to specifically use JoyCon compatable sticks), I've decided I need to give this product the benefit of the doubt and not be hyper critical that I had issues that may not have shown up if these were being fitted into the device they were made for.

Defective quality
I had the exact same issue as the other reviewer. There’s a click and a jump in the input at a certain point on the sticks. Unplayable at the moment. I’ve returned mine. Hopefully they sort their QA out and ship a better item soon as these would be an ideal option if they were manufactured correctly.

Work perfectly
If you are looking for hall effect thumbsticks for your switch just get these, legit, branded and work amazingly. Better than the same useless rubbish Nintendo 'repair' with. Took a while to get working properly, due to calibration by my switch. S ee how they go in few months time.
