This is the perfect compliment to the ThermoPro Temp Spike (another game changing product) if you like to cook meat indoors or outdoors. I'f found it to be extremely accurate when cooking pork, chicken and steak in the over and on the grill outside. A clear, bright LED gives you a reading in milliseconds, while a chunky solid body makes it easy to grasp even with bulky barbecue gloves on. No fiddly buttons to turn on and off - simply open out the probe and you're ready to go. Super easy to clean too. No issues with battery life - still running on the same ones after 8 months of using it at least 3-4 times a week, so I'm not concerned on that one. If you want meat cooked to perfection, not to 'seems about right', then I give this a 'highly recommended'.

I purchased this thermometer based on a recommendation from my favourite online BBQ vlogger, and I can confirm it's worth the investment! While it is more expensive than some competitors, the price reflects the brilliant quality. ​As demonstrated in my video, the speed at which it detects temperature changes is super fast. Crucially, the readings are also incredibly accurate. I especially love the auto-rotating display: no matter how you hold the thermometer, the temperature reading always stays the correct way up, which is very handy over a hot grill. The build quality is excellent, and it's also waterproof. This is a must-have for any kitchen or BBQ enthusiast.

I bought the thermometer for helping myself in getting water temperature right for brewing coffee. It was delivered in a nice box with the thermometer and a tiny screwdriver for opening and closing the battery compartment. The thermometer switches on as you pull the probe needle out of the housing. It glows a bright red. It's pretty ligh. Has some sort of plastic housing with a rubber-like insert for a better grip. The result is practically instant and you can actually "watch the kettle boil". It's the same the other way round. If you keep the thermometer inside a kettle you can watch it cool down 0.1C every second or so. I use it for my intended purpose, that is brewing coffee and it does job very well. I also used it once when I had an barbecue. The needle is quite sharp and goes into lamb kebabs easily. I did not try to measure temperature of meat over the barbecue grill. I moved the meat to a side of the grill, then measured the temperature. I don't know how heat proof it is, but I rather not risk it.

ive been using this probe for a while and i cannot fault how clear the display reads, the ease of cleaning is good and the magnet works well so its easy to store away, the design is very well thought of with the temp change and the led flipping when its flipped either direction great value for money.

Bought several of the cheaper thermometers and all have been slow and inaccurate, this thermopro however is perfect, instant reading, easy to use and accurate. Well worth buying, great item

I cannot rate this heat probe highly enough. It comes incredibly well packaged, with the probe, battery and screw driver for the batterery casing all enclosed. Along with with an intuitive instruction manual. The read time on this probe is the fastest I have ever come across. The tapered probe penetrates the meat with ease. (That's what she said). The ThermoPro wakes up the second you open the probe, and you can lock in wether you want F or C. I read through the instructions and it seems as if you can calibrate it yourself. But I'm happy to trust the factory settings that say it is accurate to 0.3⁰c. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but that is probably because it is housing a whole bunch of tech. If you are a home cook like me, you cannot go wrong with this one.

ThermoPro är en riktigt bra termometer. Den har en gedigen konstruktion och mäter blixtsnabbt och exakt. Den tänds och släcks när man viker ut termometerspetsen. Jag har testat ett antal termometrar utan att hittills finna någon som omedelbart visar rätt temperatur i F eller C. Köp denna om du är ute efter en riktig termometer för din matlagning och bakning.
