This sign is exactly what I needed! The message is firm but friendly — it sets boundaries while still welcoming the people I care about. The design is clean and professional, and the lettering is easy to read from a distance. I love that it says “Friends & Family Welcome” — it adds warmth to the firmness. Since putting it up, I’ve had fewer interruptions and more peace at home. It’s held up beautifully in the weather, and I’ve even had neighbors ask where I got it. If you want to protect your space without sounding harsh, this sign strikes the perfect balance. Highly recommend for anyone who values privacy with kindness.

It's a small sign but it definitely works. We put it up a day ago and it has already kept away both salesmen who came up within two days. We get bombarded with people selling things all spring and summer so it is a relief to have something that works and stops people from ringing the doorbell (dogs barking everytime too.)

With influx of door to door solicitors - I decided to purchase a sign to prevent this annoying trend to sell things, etc. So, I invested in this DO NOT KNOCK OR RING DOORBELL sign. I have been disappointed in past purchases of similar items because it did not prevent these unwanted canvassers. Well, this sign really works ... it is extremely visible, easy to apply to door, and the does not fall off no matter what the weather conditions. Also, it looks great and can be read from a distance which helps deter people before they get near the door. Definitely a 5 star item.

This actually is pretty nicely made. The materials are holding up through the weather. It is just smaller than I anticipated making it a struggle for visibility for where I put it. Was super easy to attach though as it basically had some sticker command strips to adhear it to most surfaces! Maybe it's just a bit busy for the size. But affordable, and cute!

Since this will sit outside & the surface didn't feel sealed, I applied [brushed on] 2 layers of satin craft varnish as that is all I had. I applied the varnish to the wood back as well since it felt unprotected. I used liquid nails to install it to the stone façade above my doorbell & used the enclosed sticky tab to stick it to the corner of my door frame. (The sticky tab is secondary to the liquid nails.) So far, this sign has been exposed to sun, snow, wind, & rain over the past few months and it's holding up. I feel like the varnish that I applied to create a barrier was crucial to making this more 'weatherproof.' The sign is easy to read with a design that stands out; I feel that it has definitely deterred solicitors!

This is a fine sign. It gets the point across just not pleased with the cheap double sided tape they sent. It’s in no way sticky enough, of all things to cut corners on. People buy these to adhere to outside surfaces and this don’t cut it.
