Great product
Already have some equipment by the same manufacturer and not disappointed. Great case and selection of quality items

Really good quality kit
This is a great buy for home DIY enthusiast or a professional. Admittedly it's expensive but well worth it considering the amount of tools within and the quality of the product. I am usually able to take just this case with me and get general jobs done comfortably. The amount of different heads within make very short work of finding the right tool for the job. The case itself is solid and bright so it can be seen easily although it is plastic. I suppose if it was metal the case would add more weight to an already quite hefty load of tools so plastic probably was the best choice. The handle is very comfortable to hold, a decent size and non slip. As noted previously watch the little L. keys as they are very easy to lose, their holding area is the only one which isn't a tight secure fit. Had the manufacturer made them a tight fit it's reasonable to assume the user would risk bending them getting them in and out so there's not a great deal to be done about it other than be aware they are there.

Pure Quality!
I work for myself and after a recent, large job, I added this tool kit to the cost of the invoice, rather than adding my usual percentage to the materials and what a treat to finally receive it! You can tell just by handling the different parts of the kit, that they will last a lifetime if looked after properly. Extremely comprehensive selection of sockets and spanners, all set into a very solid feeling, sturdy case. Before purchasing this, I had a good look around at other alternatives and I can honestly say that for the money, you will not find a better socket and spanner set on the market! As a builder, I was often finding myself on jobs where I was not expecting to need sockets or spanners of any kind, only to discover something that required both and be left in a position where I would have to borrow said items from a friend - this will never be the case again. Very handy (albeit weighty) sized bit of kit to put in the van and carry from job to job 'just in case'. I might not need it often but from now on, I will never be left needing to leave a job again, to track down some obscure socket / spanner size for some equally obscure and unexpected part of that job. In short: BUY THIS KIT! It is BRILLIANT!

Probably the best set for the money out there. Probably...
I have had both a long look and think around before deciding to buy this set. It was between this one and the Bahco S138 in the end. This one won due to price considerations, as well as the addition of having the flex head spanners, over the crow foot wrench heads. I have to say the flex head spanners alone make this set worthwhile. They make reaching for the sockets and ratchet obsolete, in many occasions. I also decided Bahco was the way to go as I have tried some tools from them in the past and I was always impressed by the quality: 1/4'' 25 piece socket set and adjustable spanners and wrenches. It wasn't easy, as I had the Connex COXBOH600160, the KS Tools 917.0779 CLASSIC,Yato YT-3884 Professional, Parker PROFESSIONAL SOCKET SET, Famex and the likes to choose from. All of them strong, quality contenders that I spend many hours researching. I also considered the Facom sets, it would be hard not to. And I will still get one soon, as I am the kind of person that will always invest in the best tools I can afford. I believe the joy of using a good looking, well made and quality tool and the fact that it won't let you down when you need it most is well worth the extra investment. But for now I needed a some tools I can use on my car asap, so I had to get the next best thing. Yes, it is a quality set, like many others have mentioned. But it is not perfect and it has 3 shortcomings I have identified this far: 1. there is no 14 mm socket for the 1/4'' wrench. They stop at 13 mm, strangely (therefore one needs to use the 14 mm in 1/2'', which can be cumbersome) 2. there is no 7 mm allen key either (so one has to stop and dig one out, if he can find one, in order to undo the break caliper bolts) 3. there are no adapters 1/4'' to 1/2'' and vice-versa (hence one can't use the 1/4'' ratchet with the 1/2'' sockets, nor the 1/2'' ratchet with the 1/4'' sockets. How silly is that?) All of these are quite a necessity if one is to do DIY car maintenance like I am at the moment. The other gripe I would say I have would be the fact that the separator plate that sits between the lower part and the top (and that is not shown in the pictures here) is very hard to pry out of it's closed position, to get to the keys and flexi sockets in the lid. I had to spend a couple of minutes filing down the plastic bits where it catches, in order to make it more manageable. But that is not something too serious, better stiffer than too lose. Also, the wrenches could do with having more teeth, even 72 like some competitors have. But I am really trying to highlight all the bad things I could think of, and these are about all there are. For now, maybe in the future I will discover more, as I get to work more on the car. Pretty sure that will happen, as always. I think the Bahco designers that came up with this set forgot to consult with the mechanics out there and other people that actually use the tools to work with. But perhaps that is the reason why we are getting them so cheap now, so it may have worked to our advantage in the end ;-). All in all, it's a small price to pay for getting quite a set and it can be remedied by adding additional gear to the set as one goes along. I bought this set in order to start working on my car, as I said, thinking that it will work out a lot cheaper in the long run, investing in a quality tool set versus paying a lot more money to the mechanic to do things I am perfectly capable of doing myself. With a little help from Youtube, I got together enough courage to start changing the break pads. Then I bought some break discs to go with them too, as my (ex :-)) mechanic had pointed out that they need replacing too. In retrospect, I think he was only creating some more work for himself, at my expense: I looked at the old break disks and they only have about 1 mm missing on them. Hmmm...but hey, I trusted him and I already got the new ones online, so not much chance of returning them now, so I might as well fit them. They look great too, matt silver. Next, I bought some shocks and manage to get one on, while the other is playing hard to get: a seized nut became rounded and I now have to look for a nut removal tool to get it to come undone. But now I have started, I won't stop :-). It's great fun anyways, despite being grubby work and annoying at times, when one discovers just how much corrosion and muck can accumulate on part on a 10 year old vehicle. Thankfully, I do plumbing and general building for a living and I am naturally mechanically minded, so this is just a change of scenery, working with different tools and different appliances. But all in all not bad for a guy who until 2 months ago never even attempted to change the oil in his car... I was close to returning the set for a refund, but after looking yet again on Amazon, I decided that for the money, this is the best set there is after all. I will buy a separate 14 mm socket, an 7 mm allen key and a solid set of adapters to add it to this set, rather than buy something else that I might discover it has other shortcomings and may not even be as good quality as Bahco comes up with. The choice is great, but one has to decide in the end and I will stand by this decision. Says he, while thinking about the Facom he will soon get his hands on, when finding one at the right price :-). I will stop here, hoping I have helped some of you in a similar predicament make up their minds. Peace and all the best from me, Michael

A lot of Bahco for your buck.
I bought this as i have just bought my first house and wanted to build a collection of good quality tools for carrying out work in the house, in the shed, in the garden and on the car. This is a comprehensive collection of very high quality tools for the price paid (£144.95) that cover every application i am likely to have for them. At this price its a no-brainer for genuine Bahco gear, if you price up the individual sets and components in this set then you will see why! I have used this set many times since buying it and would highly recommend it whether you are a DIY enthusiast or a tradesperson. My father is always asking to borrow it and is impressed by the quality...he was a marine engineer to trade. NB******** One downside in my experience i would note is that this is quite a heavy object which in the case of my order was quite poorly packed, during delivery it had almost completely burst through the side of the cardboard box, the item was still perfectly intact with all pieces still in it, this may just have been rough handling by the delivery service.

The kit is large, the quality for that amount - good. The price is twice lower, than I've found in a shop. I was advices this set, because the man, who works on this sphere, ensured me, that the quality is good enough, if you won’t use it every day for 24 house, it’s not for professional use in some car repairing stations, it will get worn out in short period of time, but for use for home needs - it will serve for the whole life.

This is an excellent variety tool set. The quality is very high, and I love the matte finish on the pieces. Replacing an older Mastercraft auto set, and this is WAY better quality. And the case is solid. Can't figure out what the little white plastic case is for though. It's not labeled. I threw some extra bits in there.
