Takes a while to ship

Pyrex measuring cups are the gold standard (that they’ve improved over the years with a pour spout). They do NOT spill, are durable (glass, duh!) easy to read and accurate! I still avoid the dishwasher as, eventually, the red level-marking will fade. Still the BEST!!

I’ve been using these cups in my kitchen for a few weeks now. I originally bought them on the recommendation of a friend who loves cooking, and after trying them myself I can see why. The glass feels sturdy—these aren’t thin or fragile—and I like that sense of durability when I pick them up. The markings are clear and easy to read, even when the liquid is filled close to the top. Another thing I appreciate is that they don’t seem to stain or hold onto odors, even after using them for tomato sauces or coffee. In practice, the measurements have been reliable. I compared a few pours with a scale and they were close enough for everyday cooking and baking. The spout design is decent, though not super precise, if you pour quickly, you might notice a little dribble down the side. One thing to keep in mind is that they can feel a bit heavy when filled to the top, which might be an issue for someone with less grip strength, though it hasn’t been a problem for me in normal use. Also, when my friend showed me her older set, I noticed some of the measurement markings had worn down. She admitted she scrubs hers pretty aggressively, so I’ve been a bit gentler with cleaning mine, and so far the markings are holding up fine.
