The quality of the kit is great. It's definitely not the best for beginners because you have to learn a lot of different stitches to make up the cat and the basket. The tutorials are great!

The description said for beginners and experts. The box says for beginners. I’m gifting to experts. Not sure they would take to a beginner kit.

The instructions were good and it was nice that everything came with it. However, very difficult to learn with such poor quality of yarn. It's completely split. I'd consider more for advanced beginners.

Or Purr Eggs. I am good with both concepts. I like crochet. I love cats. So getting 5 stars from me. What I love, other than cute lil cat eggs. Everything in one box. I do t have to buy new notions or search through the bottom of my craft bag for one more stitch maker. It's all in the box. The yarn is skin friendly. Some kit yarns are not exactly fun to work with, and I get the yarn need ato be purpose selected and stuff yarns are great for stitch details and retaining shape. This kit found a happy medium, the end piece looks good and I enjoyed the process of making it. There is also enough yarn for loose crocheters or small swatching. A quick project. This went so quickly. The instructions deffo helped get the idea across and the design is simple with some fun shaping elements. The end project is adorable. Lil kitty eggs resting in little egg cups. My actually fur kitties are trying to steal them off my finished craft shelf.

This kit includes everything you need to make four cats: an ergonomic crochet hook, 5 colorful stitch markers, 5 pins with colorful heads, a yarn needle, and yarn. The yarn included is: 4 full-size skeins of orange, gray, white, and light brown, one small skein of black, and a baggie of dark brown. There are also two bags of stuffing. The instructions are pretty bare-bones. The kit is advertised for beginners, but I wouldn't recommend this particular kit for anyone just starting out. There's just not enough instructional material, and I feel like you need to be able to fill in the blanks for some missing information. If you have crochet experience, especially with this type of project, you'll probably be fine, and the cats are definitely extremely cute. This kit has all of the supplies I expect from kits like this, but the quality of the instructions just isn't as good as some other kits.

Over the past few months I have gotten a whole bunch of beginner kits to try out that claim to teach you to crochet, and I am hoping that one of them will actually succeed. I got this kit mainly for the black and white kitty cupcake, but I like how all of them look. The yarn is thin and soft and the supplies look just like the product photos. I will try to remember to update after I give the project a try while following along with the video, but for now my review is based solely on the supplies that I received.
