Spectrum Critical Thinking for Math, Grade 2: Volume 44

My son is in his 2nd grade and as per his teachers at school needed hope extra help with mathematics, especially word problems for simple addition and subtraction. I was looking for some supplementary material when I stumbled upon 'Spectrum 2nd Grade Critical Thinking Math Workbook' upon a recommendation from a friend. I decided to give it a try. So far, its been 6 months approximately and I am satisfied with the results. I would not say that this is a single source of help on 2nd grade mathematics that you can rely on but it compliments the school learning really well. Especially, as a go to exercise for my son when I want him to spend some time learning instead of screen time (one activity we do is to decide to pick just two exercises for the day from the book and target a closure). I would really recommend this to anyone in a similar situation.

Exactly what my 2nd grader needed! Th exercises progress at a steady pace, staying on processes for just the right amount of time for him to grasp what’s being taught. One thing I really appreciate about these workbooks is that they are clear in their directions as well as being visually uncluttered.
