Took time
So at first my underweight filly wouldn’t eat it. It took time! Just over two weeks but I persisted which just a sprinkle and added a little more each time. She now has a whole mug full. So keep at it and she’s starting to look amazing with a shine to her coat.

This product came recommended to me by a equine nutritionist to add some very safe cool calories to my barn. This has been a great addition and safe to feed to my Quarters horse with Cushing’s and EPM that sometimes struggles to loose weight or put weight on. Very easy to up the amount in the late fall to prep for winter and scale back for summer. This has also helped everyone at my barn reach that ideal body score (easy keeping warmblood off any grain and two very active sometimes hard to keep thoroughbreds). It smells delicious and we use as a feed alone with soaked alfalfa pellets or as a food topper for extra calories.

And so do I. He's bright, shiny, fat and happy on this product. As an "old man" Thoroughbred, keeping weight on him, even while on pasture and with grain, beet pulp, alfalfa and grass hay while in overnight, has been a challenge. Thank you so much for this!

Absolutely love this feed! At first I gradually introduced it dried to the oats I had been feeding, but after reading the bag decided to try soaking it and was very impressed by the results. It will absorb 2 to 3 times it’s amount in water, so one cups worth of dry food becomes 3 cups worth of mash. I use the feed as a supplement to carry herbs and wormer, and it is awesome to have something that actually adds nutritional value especially living up north in a very cold climate. I willThis product and it is a great price on Amazon versus direct.

The brand & product are great! I just don't recommend buying through Amazon. It's nearly $30 cheaper when you buy through smartpakequine.
