I bought this USB power socket to replace an outdated AUX jack in my 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. This power socket does not have any clips like the original AUX jack. This USB power socket fits in nice and snug and won't come out unless you remove the panel and push it out from the back if you need to replace it in the future. White light = on / red light = charging. The light is not that annoying IMO. While installing, the wire is long enough to get power from another cigarette socket and wiring harness looks legit so no need to slice any wires to connect. I am very happy with the upgrade as I just brought my SUV into the 21st century lol !! I plugged my phone into the charger and it does charge relatively fast almost 10% in about 5 mins. It was easy to install.

I installed this in my 2004 4runner, it fit into the OEM knockout perfectly, but I needed to modify the wiring harness as it did not match the cigarette lighter plug on my car. After reassembling everything, it powered on no issue, and WOW is that LED too bright! it's a shame really. I'm going to have to open it up and cut out that lamp at this rate, it's almost distracting to drive with. I will say that it does an excellent job and does put my phone into superfast charging mode. So it does exactly what's on the package. I'd definitely recommend, but make sure it is compatible with your cigarette lighter or be ready to pull out the soldering iron!

Simple, easy install after removing the trim. It does charge a phone very quickly. I understand the desire for the light around it so people can see where to plug in the cord at night. But it is VERY bright, too bright in my opinion. Would be better if it was a little more diffused.

Perfect for and design for 2010 Toyota Prius. Works and hits well. The LED lighting is bright and installation was a breeze!!

Eveyone i got replaced would not work. X3 I went as far to make leads and connected to the battery no go. Do not buy.

The charger works well and fits snugly in place of the plug! The power connector doesn't fit my 2011 Toyota Sienna!

Mine came with a crack and probably I am the only one who fixates on it, but it’s functional. 3 weeks in, the writing is already faded off. I don’t recommend the white/red - the white is pretty yellowy and doesn’t really match. The red is also a bit much, was hoping it would be more orangey to match the Toyota stuff. Seems to work, easy install, and good dimensions figment. The crack though… for the $ just not expected so -2 stars.

Super easy to install. Worked out of the box plug n play.
