I bought this during the summer after seeing it go viral and figured it would be another “either it works or it doesn’t” pet tool... kind of like those grooming gloves that claim to make fur roll up magically (they definitely don’t). But this brush actually works in the best way. I used it on my pug, who sheds nonstop and usually hates grooming. Wire brushes? She runs. Nail trims? Forget it. Even touching her feet or nose is a battle. But with this tool she literally comes running over and sits with her back turned, ready for grooming. That alone sells it. As for performance, it pulls out a ton of loose fur from her undercoat. I could probably brush her for hours and still have more coming off, but even brief sessions remove a surprising amount. It doesn’t scrape or irritate her skin, just smoothly lifts out all the loose hair that would normally end up on my floors, clothes, furniture... everywhere. If you have a dog who sheds heavily and hates traditional brushes, this thing is absolutely worth it. Super simple, super effective, and apparently pug-approved. It's a wood block with a fine took saw blade on it, but don't be alarmed by the look it works.

This is the best deshedding brush for my cats I’ve ever found. So easy use and the cats love it. Is removes SO much loose hair so effortlessly!! Leaves kitty’s fur soft and shining. They shed pretty much all year being indoor, but clearly more in spring and fall. Works on my 3 short haired cats and especially the one chonk who can’t clean her back area the best. Easily got rid of all the loose hair. I also have a senior Maine Coon and she did not really like this, but she’s a finicky princess. Her long hair is so fine, that this didn’t work as well, but it’s amazing for the others. Just get one! You and kitty will love it. Def worth the $20!

I’m not one to leave reviews most of the time but this brush is an absolute game changer. My cat is 17.5 years old and isn’t grooming herself as well as she used to. The problem is that she absolutely hates being brushed and I have to give her a secondary brush to attack to get it done. Even then I can only do it for a minute or two. I got this brush after watching TGWTD grooming videos and decided to give it a try. IT ACTUALLY WORKS SO GOOD! It has done a great job effectively removing tangles, shedding and dandruff. On top of how well it works, my finicky girl let me brush her for a full hour! And she fell asleep and purred. Her coat is so soft and smooth. Pictured is the third ball of hair from our most recent session.

I already have a Furminator which works great and a few of my cats LOVE getting brushed, but this white boy here does not like it and he would get agitated quick and growl. So I decided to give this one a try on him, it is a bit messier (fluff goes everywhere vs being caught by the comb), but he was purring most of the time and actually let me get a good amount of fur off him before he let me know he had had enough. So I'm calling this one a win.

Very good anti-shedding tool for our medium long-haired cat. Cat loves it. We have a medium long-haired cat that does not appear to groom himself very much. Is the best tool I’ve ever had at removing undercoat during shedding season. It is a nice size in your hand. I really like the dark wood. It looks very nice. It almost looks like there’s a sawblade on the bottom which has been warped, which is the blade that you rub against the cat or dog. The cat loves it. The dog doesn’t have much fur. The hair comes right off. It’s incredibly easy to clean. Really nice quality. The bristles are essentially a sawblade so they are not soft at all. I would only recommend you use this on a very furry creature. Easy to use. Very durable. Feels good in your hand. And most importantly, the cat enjoys it. It was expensive, but I think it was probably worth it.

I tried it on my German Shepherd didn’t work the best. So I tried it on my mom’s dog (beagle) works amazing! Gets a lot of hair out, doesn’t hurt the dog, fits perfectly in your palm for easy use! How soft and shiny it made his coat amazed me! Very easy to clean afterwards, I just use a wet wipe!

I love watching Girl with the dogs on YouTube. I can tell she knows her stuff. So I did not hesitate to buy this for my cat. He loves it! It takes all the undercoat out and leaves my cats fur shiny and healthy. It’s so easy to use, it just glides through the fur like butter. It works so well with her deshedding conditioner.

Does not work well on long hair pets

I bought this for my Boxer, and it works great! It removes a lot of loose fur with just a few strokes and is really gentle on his skin. He enjoys being brushed, and I’ve noticed much less hair around the house. Easy to use and very effective.

Will never use anything else. Works great and my cat absolutely loves it. She just purrs and very much enjoys getting brushed now.

I bought this to use on my golden labrador who is eight years old. I have used other hair removing brushes etc over the years but this is much better than all of them. My lab doesn't mind me using it on her where as before she would try and bite the other brushes or run away. I would definitely recommend this. It removes hair easily and quickly.

I am shocked how much hair comes out of my cats! This brush is amazing: a couple of short strokes and the hair is already loose and visible. My cats are not used to being brushed yet (they are rescues), so we have to work on that a bit. But seeing both my partner and I are allergic to cats, using this brush on a daily basis should help with excess fur everywhere. But this brush is so effective that for a couple of days the amount of excess fur in the house will be much higher, simply because the cats haven't been brushed properly ever and the brush takes out so much! I pondered for a long time if I should get this brush, because it is quite expensive. But seeing how effective it is, I am glad I purchased it. Off I go now, got a cat to brush!
