Practically perfect
I want to quickly point out a few bad points because they are honestly quite small in the grand scheme of things: - The kick stand drops down a little bit when you're holding the steam deck. This isn't a big deal, but instead of sitting flush to the deck, gravity pulls it down about 1cm away from the back of the case. This doesn't appear to affect the kickstands ability when you are actually using it though. - The trigger buttons are still slightly exposed. I feel like this is one of the most common negatives I see for this case, but honestly I am not convinced it is actually THAT big of a deal. I definitely would not feel worried at all about the triggers if I was just throwing this into a bag (I use a bag with a dedicated Steam Deck slot though so this is even less of a concern for me personally). - I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing, but the front case is a little awkward to get off because it sticks to the front of the deck so well. The way I end up taking it off, is resting the deck on my lap and then holding both ends with my fingers and using my thumbs to push the front case up and off the deck. This can sometimes end up with the front case flipping up and away from you so you have to be careful not to fling it on the floor. The good things: - Everything feels study and the fit is fantastic. - It doesn't feel bulky at all and when I am using the deck you don't even notice that there is a case on it. - The front cover fits really well and is very study in place. Absolutely no worries that it will accidentally fall off, the analogue sticks are well protected and so you don't have to worry about them breaking in your bag from being pushed and held in one direction. The triggers are also really well protected, even if they aren't completely covered. - There is a cut out for the charging port that allows for those 90 degree angle charging cables to be used. Or just about any charging cable you have really. The kickstand works really well and it feels nice and stable when it is resting up. There is only one angle you can set it to, but I feel like it is a decent angle personally. - The volume and power buttons are covered up for protection but easily able to be pressed. - The accessory I got to hold a power bank or similar on the back of the case works really well. I tested it with my INIU 25000mAh power bank and it holds it in place well and feels nice and safe. The fastening can be a little fidgety but it gives me more confidence that they will stay in place as a result so I guess it is a positive rather than negative. I cannot test the cover that came with it for a Dock, because I don't have a dock to test it with, but I assume based on the rest of the product that this is also good quality. Conclusion: Overall, it is pretty close to perfect in my opinion. It is a lot cheaper than the Killswitch case which is the other major one that most people recommend, and I don't think there is likely to be much difference in quality (It sounds like the Killswitch case will be marginally better, but it is also more than double the price) If you want a good quality case but don't want to break the bank, then I highly recommend this case.

Solid and perfect fit
Before I write my actual review I want to comment on something I've read in a few. A few people have mentioned a "flimsy rubber stand" in their reviews. It isn't actually a stand. Having looked at it, I realised it looked like a cover for a Dock, when I checked the box, it does list a "protect case for dock" (I'd assume a JSAUX model), it's a nice extra addition so you can place your Steam Deck on the dock with the case on. Most docks appear to be far too narrow, so this would have been a real bonus. I'm not sure why JSAUX don't mention it anywhere on the listing. I personally ordered the Mod Case with the attachable Dock, but... If I had known the case came with this piece, I probably would have opted for one of their stationary docks. 🤷🏽♂️ Now for the actual review... The case is amazing. It feels solid and fits incredibly well, without restricting use. It adds a decent amount of weight to the deck, which I personally really do like. I'm quite tall and have big hands, and the added weight is just makes it feel more solid. As someone with big hands, the Steam Deck (without case) isn't the most ergonomic. Playing with the case on felt a lot more comfortable. The front cover is great as well, and padded, for the extra protection whioe on the move. The kickstand is also nice to have. It's solid metal, attaches firmly, and does not get in the way of play. I've used it when putting my Deck down to charge. The dock also attaches easily, and keeps the case standing well. I haven't tried the battery pack strap yet, but if the quality is comparable... I can't see what could go wrong. Easy 5*

If you want to meet the devise safe buy it
I love it. Best case ever. It’s easy to use it feels very sturdy and strong the stand it super nice and very good. It is a little bit thicker and make the device a little heavier but it’s grips are great and the lid is easy to put on and off. Also the device is still fully functional and very well protected I’m very happy as Jsaux makes the best accessories for the steam deck in my opinion

Good case for comfort, but not the best quality control and the cover scratches easily
I primarily bought this case as a better grip for my steam deck and it has done that job amazingly, it is much more comfortable to hold, far less slippy, and I'm not worried about dropping it anymore. The front cover is nice for being able to chuck the deck into my bag without putting it in the stock case so takes up much less space. The cover provides protection for the entire front of the console as well as protecting the triggers and sd card slot. I like that it allows charging while the cover is on! My biggest gripes with this cover is that it is very difficult to remove from the system (pulling from the bottom which I assume is the correct method) and it has left marks on the rubberish material attached to the steam deck itself over time which is a shame. The cover also seems to scratch very easily in my bag. In the photo there are scratches that have accumulated from a short time in my bag with nothing but the power adapter with it. To be fair, this is merely aesthetic but I would have expected it to hold up better than this. The fact that this case has a kickstand is a nice bonus, however the one included with mine was defective and luckily JSAUX replaced it promptly after messaging their support. The stand works well and is very sturdy as well as being detachable, the only downsides are the lack of any sort of rubber grip (painted metal) and the single angle that it can be set to.

Well made, fits official valve dock, bit heavy at first but can remove mods to fix that.
Just got this, review is tentative depending on whether it lasts. So far really good case, feels heavy when you first put it on but that's with kickstand and strap attached, removing these felt lighter than other cases I've used. The strap doesn't weigh much but the kickstand is pretty heavy, though it pops off pretty easily and I imagine I won't use it much. The strap is great for letting you hold the deck more like a tablet and use the touch screen more, which is why I bought this case. The front panel pops off easily and feels super durable when it's on, you can't press the sticks at all and it has a cushioned panel inside it to prevent screen damage. Also, really nice surprise, it comes with an adapter for the official dock so you can still use it with the case on, and the case is cut so the official dock's usb-c connector isn't blocked. Complaints: Really wish it came in different colours, and attachments are pretty limited. Compatible phone holder would be awesome.

Brilliant Gadget for Steam Deck (OLED)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Case for Gamers and Tech Enthusiasts! The JSAUX ModCase is an absolute must-have! The modular design is genius, offering unparalleled versatility. Whether you need extra grip, a kickstand, or dock compatibility, this case has it all covered. The fit is perfect, and it feels premium in hand without adding unnecessary bulk to the device. The materials are durable and provide excellent protection without compromising the sleek look. It’s clear a lot of thought went into this design, catering perfectly to gamers and anyone looking to get the most out of their device. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase—highly recommend it to anyone! I wish you could order a portable dock which works with this case. I currently use the strap to hold my JSAUX dock to the back of my Steam Deck, it works, but not perfectly!

Premium feel and solid protection
Put this case on the day it arrived and haven’t taken it off since. It’s super sturdy and fits really well. You can tell the quality is very premium the moment you hold it. Its easy to install, not heavy, feel is amazing. What I really like is that it keeps the joycons protected which helps avoid stick drift. That’s actually why I left the original case behind. This one just feels a lot more secure and better built. If you care about keeping your Steam Deck safe and want something that looks and feels top quality, this is a great pick. Love it.

The Best Case Set for Me! & Perhaps for you as well?
Not fully understanding the multitude of protective coverings you can get for various technologies I did not know what would be good to get in conjunction with the console as there are lots to choose from & the descriptions are not always the greatest that it is difficult to find out wheter what you buy, is what you want, what you get & does it fit right? I researched various coverings before this one & originally bought a Fastsnail Brand Set (Case, screen & analogue stick covers) which was good enough for a time & price but then I discovered I wanted a fan that sent me down another deep rabbit hole of research (are they good or not? Yay or nay?). Yes they are! At least the Jsaux version was the most recommended & easy to utilize variation (there are heat displacement coverings you can attach with correct knowhow etc) & while looking for said fan that I discovered the Jsaux Mod case which can include a fan as part of set & this ticked all the boxes. Cooler Set! A better case with attachable front cover for when not in use (so you don't need to use the console zip case anymore which the covering wont let it fit anyway) it looks good without it. The case has a much better fit to my previous buy (though I still use the analogue stick grips cause I like them for gaming) but as the name implies it is designed for mods you need depending on play style. You can slot the fan on & off easy (as opposed to stick on attachment for nod mod cases), or attach a battery pack or other accessories you might use with deck. The metal stand is strong & takes the weight of any of attachments. You even get a complimentary Steam Deck Dock rubber adapter (if you have official Dock) which increases the size of the dock to fit the console with case & heavy attachments (it will stand-it does for me) so you can play through the T.V. The raised case edging has no effect to using the charging port on top (no extended adapter to fit like some other cases do). Great! So the fan charging is quite quick & if plugged in quickly, the red light will show & turns blue when charged & can last for 3-5 hours of play depending how much you amp up the airflow. If you sort the settings on console you can lower the cause of heating like turning down FPS, brightness etc (there are youtube videos that help in simple optimizing setup for new users). Doing this means being able to use fan on lower flow to extend use & is a good balance. I tried the experiment for myself an hour or so without & with fan to see difference & I am happy that for me, it works as to my play style usage. When & if I do get around to wanting/needing other accessories like a battery power bank etc I think I will check out the Jsaux brand first. I recommend this item Highly & hope this helps other potential buyers!
