I love this. It’s a nice colour and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Burts Bees is definitely the best lip balm product in this price range. And I’ve tried many.

I bought this in Caramel and it's the perfect shade, not too dark, and has a shimmery translucence, as expected. It's the same quality and hydration I would expect from burts bees products and stays well for a lip balm. I was disappointed that the main description didn't mention the mint though. I put it on and was instantly attacked by the unpleasant sensation of being hit in the mouth by a chilli-flavoured ice cube. Nonetheless, as it hydrates well and looks nice I am putting up with it. Tube is also rather smaller than the usual lip balms so I won't be buying this particular one at £8.99 again. Overall, great product, but will be looking for it cheaper elsewhere or sticking to the larger, plain balms.

These lip shimmer tubes arrived with a sticky bar code label along the length of the entire tube. It was very hard to remove and now I’m left with a horrible sticky mess - the lip gloss is great but the sticky label would put me off ever buying them again

Stays on for a good while

First off, if you have badly cracked lips, this won't be good enough to fix them. For that, I'd recommend you slather on a good thickish layer of Vaseline on your lips prior to sleeping. No drink of water or eating after. Sleep 8 hrs. Then when you wake it, your lips should be in much better condition for lipsticks and products such as this. But if you don't have badly cracked lips to start with, then you will find that this product is really moisturising for a lip balm and lip tint combined. I have tried other brands like Nivea and other usual lip balm sticks which are tinted. None were as moisturising as this one. After hours of wear, my lips still feel lovely and moisturised, the colour is still there, and I can still feel the layer of product on my lips. It doesn't disappear off the lips at all. It acts kind of like a sheer lipstick, except it's far better at moisturising than any lipsticks I've ever used. It's really good. I'm really tempted to buy other colours now!

Je cherchais un transparent coloré naturel, parfait, il rempli bien mes attentes, un petit goût mentolé surprenant au début mais pas désagréable... Un peu cher plus un brillant a lèvres coloré 8mm de diamètre sur a peut près 7 cm de long, je m'attendais à plus gros mais finalement il est parfait pour l'utilisation sur des lèvres fines (Pas de débordement) il ne file pas alors la, c'est ce qui le rend encore plus parfait et fait oublier son prix...

I have bought many high end tinted lip balms (including Nars, Fresh sugar, and others) but I always come back to Burts bees lip shimmers. They are my favorite. I love the pigment and soft shimmer, and the intense peppermint freshness that lasts a really long time. I'm surprised they dont charge more because they are way better quality than all the other high end ones in my opinion. Two thumbs up! I will always buy these.

PIC is of me wearing RHUBARB LIP SHIMMER. WATERMELON is somewhat more sheer on me and I use as a BLUSH. PROS: MAKES A GREAT BLUSH! I like a like transparent color. Nothing harsh. I do a "7" on upper cheekbone and along sides in hollows of cheeks and blend. NATURAL, LOVELY COLOR! GREAT MOISTURE - I don't have to use any type of balm under it, stays moist. STAYS ON WELL - USUALLY I blot my lips once after putting on the RHUBARB COLOR, which is my FAV of the shimmers, this one I don't because it's almost the color of my lips. WORKS GREAT AS A BLUSH on LIGHT SKIN - Watermelon is not as dense or dark as I thought, but makes a GREAT LIGHT NATURAL BLUSH! AND AT AN INEXPENSIVE PRICE! COST - GREAT PRICE. I paid three and change which is much cheaper than stores I've seen it in. BOTTOMLINE: RHUBARB STILL my fav for the lip shimmers for my lips (PERFECT AMOUNT OF COLOR!), but LOVE WATERMELON for a BLUSH. A touch on my cheeks and it gives a healthy, dewy glow.
