Excellent product. Easy to erect and dismantle. Perfect for extra patio warmth and for over night beach fishing warmth. Hot plate works well enough to heat water for hot beverages and also cook stews in a lidded pot. Only downfall is the door does not contain a viewing glass to watch the flames burning the wood. I am very enthusiastic about this product and am thinking of using outbacker stoves but a different model in my man shed / pub bar in the future.

Great little stove. Have done some two pot cooking on it a few times now for a few of us. For someone who loves to be outdoors, this is ideal. A little bit of extra work I admit but cooks as fast and well as any modern hob. Best to use small chunks of split wood a bit bigger than kindling if you want a good burn and a fire hot enough for cooking. It comes with a spark arrestor for the chimney, so am pleased I didn’t order one separately. Looking forward to doing a camping breakfast on it. But for now it’s in use on the patio.

I mainly wanted this as a cooker I could use outside in the event of a power outage, and for warmth during those chillier evenings when I am outside. This gives me far more versatility than a basic fire pit, as well as being a safer, more controlled method of having a fire. Safety is a must where I live. As expected, the paint needs a couple of low heat burns to cure. That is the standard treatment for any wood stove. The legs are sturdy, and fold in and out without any problems. I like the handle on the side, it aids moving the stove once you've used it. If I had one complaint, it's the carry bag supplied with the stove does not have a lot of spare room to play with, and I have cursed getting the stove packed in there a couple of times already. With well seasoned and dried wood, this burnt a good fire, especially on a day when the swirling winds made smoking a bit of a problem. Sadly nothing you can do about that, other than trying to reposition the stove, not easy if it's lit and hot. The spark arrester is a nice finish to the pipework, and it has worked well so far. The metal was of slightly better quality than I was expecting, especially given the price point. Overall, it has done what I wanted, and it gives me peace of mind if the power ever goes out where I live.

Buyer Beware - wrongly described as a 'Tipi Kit' - it's actually just the stove only. There is no sleeve, flashing or heat shield that would allow the flue to exit safely through the fabric of a tipi. i.e. the accessory available included in the 'Outbacker Stove Tipi Kit' elsewhere. I did raise this with the seller but they informed me I would need to make an additional purchase. Not impressed, but easy to make my own. The stove itself is similar to several others available on the market and without having yet used this specific one I can't reasonably judge its efficacy. I wouldn't choose this particular seller though - I received an unsatisfactory explanation to my first email and my follow up email has been ignored. Not a major disaster, but I want to warn others in case they too feel misled by the description.

I like how easy it goes together. I don’t like how dirty it gets, but then it is a wood burner. I use it when camping

Great keeps my hut really warm, and stick a frying pan on it and cook your breakfast. Top marks

Really like this stove. You can keep the light level low if stealth is necessary. Holds heat really well. 3 legs so it won't wobble on any surface. It packs down neatly into itself and the provided bag. Some of the paint is beginning to crack around the edges of the cooking ring after about 20 hours of use, but that's not a massive problem. I'll wire brush it back at some point and respray with high-temperature paint. Overall, very pleased. Edit: over 3 years later and it's still going strong.

Je rêvais depuis longtemps d'amener le bushcraft dans mon jardin, c’est chose faite, encore plus appréciable pendant le confinement ! Nous l'utilisons depuis une semaine avec un grand plaisir, bonne combustion, nous rechauffonsn notre thé dans une théière en fonte et c'est brûlant en quelques minutes, rien à redire! Hâte de le tester en cuisinière à bois de bivouac, j'ai d'ailleurs commandé une poêle en fonte d'ailleurs ;) Pour finir : - livré plus tôt que prévu -de bonne facture -compact -super rapport qualité/prix =j'en suis très satisfait. Il nous suivra dans les bivouacs et autres roadtrips ! *Le sac est de fabrication un peu légère, je ne lui prédis pas une grande vie, après visualisons que tout se passera bien, à nous d'en prendre soin car il est bien utile, mais bon, ça peut se changer facilement.

Super pour cuisiner l hiver dehors ou réchauffer une tente. Mon modèle avait une vitre alors qu’elle était absente sur la photo. Bien prévoir de faire bruler chaud et plusieurs fois avant d utiliser dans un espace confiné car la peinture neuve fume beaucoup en séchant. J enlevé une étoile car le produit n était pas suffisamment emballé pour l envoi et est arrivé avec de petites bosses et une pièce cassée. Le vendeur compréhensif m’a remplacé la pièce. Il faut améliorer la protection de ce non petit poêle lors de l envoi.

Je n'ai pas encore pu le tester je viens de voir que l'emboîtement des tubes se fait à mon sens dans le mauvais sens (coter femelle en bas). Il y a pas mal de jeux dans le tuyau, mes pieds étaient pas très bien souder et les vis pas visser. Bon je sais qu'il est qu'à 157 € sans les frais de port mais quand même un petit peu plus de finition de travail pas forcément de finition avec le matériaux serait un plus. Pas encore testé mais je reviendrai donner mon avis sur 2 potentiel fuite de fumée au niveau du conduit.
