My son is in the middle school band, which means they mostly play boring songs with quarter-notes and half-notes, etc. Nothing too exciting, but his band teacher has been having some of the kids start with drum sets. My son is much more interested in learning drum set rather than just playing a snare or cowbell or whatever. He was pretty blown away by this poster. First, the poster is not simple paper. It's a thicker plastic/leather type material. It's definitely very strong and durable feeling. What he was most interested in was the breakdown of which drum set instruments correlate to which "notes" in a bar (snare vs kick vs cymbal, etc). He's started to work on some of the basic beats that are annotated on this. As for size, it's really big. The description is accurate that it's basically 4 feet wide. I think that the size is actually a good thing because he can sit further away from the wall and still be able to read it. Overall, I think this is a great poster for a young drummer. Everything about this Drummer's Poster screams quality, both in the material it's made from and the information and content it contains. First, it's made of a very tactile, dimpled plasticized material that is much sturdier than a simple paper poster. The printing on it is large and bold so it would be easy to see from across a room. The content is well-organized. It has 4 panels. Left to right, on the first panel are drumming rudiments, reading the staff, and basic drum beats and fills. On the next panel are various Rock and Funk drum patterns/grooves. The next panel has a variety of R&B and Jazz grooves. Also, at the top, is a staff showing where each of the different drums, cymbals, etc. appear on the staff. Finally, on the last panel are shown World and Ethnic grooves and patterns. There is a lot of information here that should help the budding drummer and serve as a reminder for a more advanced student, as well.

Ok, firstly the material is like a wax canvas and seems very strong. It's matte, so there's no shine which makes visibility great. The poster is folded so that it can be refolded to each section, so you don't have to hang this giant poster. The type is large enough to have a stand or a wall and be able to see easily. For me, it has some great basics and foundations for beginning drumming. We have jams and there's a drum kit in the dining room, I'm certain this will help inspire some different genres.

The poster is made of a nice durable material. I like all the charts and different styles on it. Unfortunately, there are typos or misprints. The Funk section is an exact copy of the 16th note Rock section. The 16th note Rock section shows it plays on the ride, but it should be played on the hihats. There are some other parts that look like the hihat markings are posted to high on the bar.

We have a budding young drummer who just got his first electronic drum kit for Christmas after playing for nearly a year. We placed this poster at eye-level in front of his kit to give him a visual reminder of what he's playing. At his current level, this poster also gives him some new rhythms and beats to practice. This poster is large at nearly four feet in width so the notes are not microscopic and can be read at a reasonable distance. We're very glad to have gotten this for our drummer as he's just getting started and seeing the many different rhythms he can grow into seems to have increased his desire to play more often so he can get there quicker.

Nice poster but needs to be shipped in a 2" tube to avoid those lines from folding. So it's doesn't look as good as it would had they used shipping tube.

The poster itself is tough and made out of a waterproof material. It is quite large and I am not going to be able to keep it out, I’ll have to store it. Installation/setup: Open envelope, take out poster. Install on wall. Use to learn beats. Final thoughts: The envelope this is package in is sealed a little tooo well. I had to tear the envelope and I would have preferred to have it to put the poster back in. I don’t plan to keep the poster out, I plan to only bring it out when I practice. I am in a small apartment and I don’t have a dedicated space and can only use a practice pad for now, but this will help immensely. I like all the different music styles on this and a suggestion for the beats. I like this and will use it often. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I have been playing the guitar for a while now but I have recently started to play the drums as well. As someone who was not familiar with drum notation, I found this poster to be extremely helpful. It's like a giant-size cheat sheet. Rudiments, Basic Fills, and Beats, as well as several other Rock, Jazz, R&B, etc grooves. It is all in there. It is made from a sturdy canvas-like material so I expect it to last a long time. I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.
