I admit I purchased this solely because of the low price,39$. I was worried at first due to the lack of clear instructions (obviously made in a foreign country as there were lots of typos and redundant info in it). So I simply researched candling and the basics online. I collected eggs from my own hens and popped them in. Pros: -PRICE! -clear viewing done -11 out of 12 eggs hatched with only minimal effort -Hatched 1 day early, even. All hatched within 17 hrs of each other. -temp was automatically set and I didn’t have to change mine -the autoturner worked great -the temp stayed within .5 at all times -Came with some random nipple type waterers? So I suppose that could be considered a bonus. -came with a small candler light (batteries not included)but I didn’t use it, we just used a high output flashlight we had Cons: -temp reader is Celsius be aware of that -no humidity reader so have that on hand yourself. -May need to drill a small humidity outlet hole on top. Cover with tape when not needed to be open -The humidity bottle did not work, instead I just added alittle water everyday. If you choose to use the one that came with it, be aware it just dumps the whole bottle in The biggest con:: - there is no “lip” that will hold eggs in when you remove the turner at lockdown. This causes eggs to roll EVERYWHERE and a lot of concern and stress. They need to just make a better lid/lip -removing chicks was a 2 person job due to no lip holding eggs in place. -the lid barely fits and not securely, so I taped it on so that it would stay put and not get knocked loose by the chicks when they hatched -12 is quite stuffed when they hatch, be aware All in all, with alittle fiddling I was pleased with the price and that it worked. This incubator is Probably not best for a classroom type or young children due to the lack of basic safety for the eggs but for adults that know not to mess with it, move it or touch the humidity bottle it is great.

This incubator works great! It heats up quickly and keeps a consistent temperature. It was easy to set up and the instructions were clear. Definitely a good value for the price

Great product. Purchased this product to hatch my first batch of chicks. I dry hatched since living in a very humid place and everything went well. I was so pleased with my first hatch that I bought a second incubator. A friend referred me to this product after getting 100% hatch rate while dry hatching.

I tried to salvage some cockatiel eggs, the female laid a clutch and 10 days into the process, I found her in the bottom of the cage, It was too much for the male bird to handle on his own and he quit sitting on them after about a day and he got depressed because he lost his mate, wouldn't you? I wish I would have had this in advance, the shipping took 3 days for it to get to me and those eggs didn't make it. If I could have gotten it in a day, maybe I would have been able to salvage them but, anyway the product itself works just fine It did exactly what it was supposed to do it held steady temperature the humidity control system worked. The egg Turner worked exactly the way it was supposed to. The product seems to be well made, The clear plastic lid let you see the entire process just fine. I don't have a problem with the product, it just didn't get here fast enough for me to save the eggs.

To small. The bottle needs constant monitoring for humidity. This is too tight for any bird to hatch out in. Did not like the spin feature. Cleaning is easy. The light on this thing is too low, you will still need a stronger flashlight, unless your eggshell is thin and not colored. Water is easy to tip. Need space for everything. Not a huge fan.

This incubator is easy to set up and use. Be careful NOT to throw away the small styrofoam square that comes in the box. This is placed below the stand that holds the water bottle. The incubator is easy to clean and maintains the temperature well. It does NOT come with a temperature or humidity reader so I have placed one inside which takes room m. Humidity is a bit more difficult to regulate. At times I have to leave a corner slightly propped open to keep the humidity down and other times the humidity is fine and then drops low without warning. The incubator makes a quiet hum sound. The automatic egg turner makes keeping the eggs moving a breeze. Overall an excellent price for the product.

I hatched 3 successful batches of chicks out of this incubator! I love it and super easy to use! I also love the the automatic Turner as well

I will give it 5 stars for being a great device. Only thing I dont like about to is that it has no vent for air flow. I candle every day I can so im in and out of it at least 5 days a week but I got a little panicky when the chicks hatched and had to Jerry rig 1 side slightly open so they wouldnt have the possibility of suffocating. Other than that I had a 100% hatch rate. It was a set it and forget it once the "Lockdown" started for the eggs. Kept a teeny bit of water at the bottom but cracked the lid just slightly because we live in such insane humidity that it was 75% in the open air and it was nive enough to leave the windows open day and night for a few days. So on official hatch day, I kept a close eye and monitored if things went wrong I could intervene. Great for first timers like me. Only thing I dont like is no humidity reader. I work in food concessions so I have a Lazer thermometer and it read pretty much right the entire time. It fluctuated a .1 or .2 degree difference randomly.

I do not recommend this item. Has no way of controlling the humidity. Seller was contacted and they "claim" the humidity is automatically controlled. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Temperature is about 3-4 degrees off.

Eggs don't turn and impossible to control humidity The humidity is almost impossible to control. It wouldn't stay at a constant percent of humidity. It would go up to high then go way to low on the humidity. Constant battle to keep it at the right humidity. Now the turn table won't turn. will kill your incubating chicks. I would definitely NOT recommend buying this incubator

Ich bin absolut nicht zufrieden und schicke den Inkubator zurück! Die Temperaturanzeige stimmt überhaupt nicht, habe mit 3 verschiedenen, digitalen Thermometern, die ich ins Innere gelegt habe, verglichen und immer waren es im Inkubator gute 2Grad kälter, als oben angegeben. Luftfeuchtigkeit regelt sich nicht von alleine, wie angegeben. Nicht empfehlenswert!
