Perfect for those solo adventures. Easy to use, burns almost anything you can find on the forest/wood floor, sticks, pine cones, battened wood etc. Burns hot and long on a fill. A ton of YouTube videos out there will show you the way on this little stove. If it’s a one time boil for some chow you’ll be good to go. Nests as described perfectly.

This is a great light weight wood gas stove. It burns hot and takes up very little space. This stove along with the toaks siphon alcohol stove creates an amazingly versatile combo. The alcohol stove nests inside the wood stove. The wood stove nests inside my 750 ml pot with bail. I use the wood stove in favorable conditions. If all the wood around is wet I use the top section of the wood stove with the alcohol stove. It is a great stove but it does require attention. If you get distracted for too long you will have to get it going again with a few breaths.

Den Ofen selbst habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Ich hatte ihn für meine Titan-French-Press von Besttargot gekauft, in die er auch tatsächlich jetzt auch noch rein passt. Man muss zwar den Holzknopf vorher abschrauben, den kann man aber ja auch einfach in den Topf legen. Der Deckel von Besttargot passt jedenfalls am Schluss gerade so noch drauf, ich habe aber sowieso noch einen Deckel von Toaks in der Größe 95mm, der einen etwas weniger hohen Wulst hat und noch besser draufpasst. Ich freue mich auf den ersten Test in der Natur. Der 750ml Topf von Besttargot ist mit den Abmessungen 10T x 10B x 12,5H cm angegeben, der 750 ml Topf von Toaks mit 10,8T x 9,5B x 11H cm. Wenn der 750 ml Topf von Toaks tatsächlich nur 9,5 cm im Durchmesser groß ist, dürfte es mit dem Toaks Ofen ziemlich knapp werden, da dieser mit 9,4 cm im Durchmesser angegeben ist. Laut Beschreibung passt er aber da ja rein. Im Besttargot 750 ml Pot hat der Ofen jedenfalls seitlich noch so 1-2mm Luft. Ich freue mich jedenfalls, dass der kleine Toaks Ofen in meine Besttagot-French-Press reinpasst. Positiv finde ich auch noch, dass der Karton aus recyceltem Papier und kein weiteres Plastik an der Verpackung ist. Das ist bei Chinaware leider sonst sehr selten.
