Beastly Performance with Amazing Gaming Boost
The Ryzen 9 7900X3D has completely transformed my PC experience. With its innovative 3D V-Cache technology, it delivers outstanding gaming performance that’s hard to beat. Frame rates are smooth even in the most demanding AAA titles, and I’ve noticed a real boost compared to my previous CPU. Performance: This CPU handles everything from gaming to content creation like a champ. Multi-threaded workloads, streaming, video editing, and heavy multitasking all run flawlessly. The 12 cores and 24 threads give me plenty of power for any task. Thermals & Efficiency: Despite the high performance, thermals remain surprisingly manageable. Paired with a good cooler, the CPU runs cool and quiet, even under load. Compatibility & Features: I upgraded my motherboard to support DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 to fully utilize the Ryzen 9’s capabilities, and the platform feels future-proof. AMD’s smart caching and power management really shine here. Value: While it’s not cheap, the performance gains in gaming and productivity justify the price, especially if you want top-tier performance without going to extreme high-end prices. Final Thoughts: If you want a powerful, efficient, and future-ready CPU that excels in gaming and multitasking, the Ryzen 9 7900X3D is a fantastic choice. It’s a true powerhouse that delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Is a beast for gaming but needs proper cooling
After a year and a half the cpu is still going strong, it is a hot running cpu so you will need a beefy tower cooler or a AIO to cool it. I tried it with a single tower/fan cooler it will thermal throttle during a stress test, a duel tier fan combo will keep it from thermal throttling but it will still get hot. I recently switched to a 360 AIO and running the cinebench stress test the CPU only gets to 65c. This CPU is excellent for gaming and no need to worry about bottlenecks with any modern GPU

Ryzen 9 7900X3D: The Perfect Balance of Power for Gamers and Creators
Alright, I know the Ryzen 9 7900X3D gets some hate online, but hear me out—this CPU is a beast. It’s got 12 cores, 24 threads, and a massive 144MB of cache. The extra L3 cache with 3D V-Cache is a game-changer for gaming and multi-core tasks. It offers better versatility than the 7800X3D. You get great gaming performance, but it also crushes it in productivity tasks, thanks to those extra cores. Yes, it runs a bit hot, and you’ll need a good cooler, but the performance gains are worth it. The 7800X3D is great purely for gaming, but if you want a bit more flexibility and a CPU that can handle everything, the 7900X3D is a better bet. Plus, you get more future-proofing with that extra power! Pros: • Incredible gaming performance with 3D V-Cache. • More cores and threads than the 7800X3D for better multitasking. • Efficient power usage for a high-end CPU. Cons: • Can run hot; needs a good cooling setup. • Pricey compared to pure gaming-focused CPUs. If you want a CPU that does it all and aren’t afraid to invest in some cooling, the 7900X3D is worth every penny!

Great CPU but...
This CPU is great. It works flawlessly with my 4090 but I wish I had waited for the 7800X3D instead. AMD has opted on using a dual chiplet design architecture this generation. While the CPU has 12 cores, (6 cores on each chiplet) AMD's new "3D V-Cache" makes the CPU park 6 of those 12 cores while gaming since the 3D V-Cache is only stacked on one chiplet. The performance is great if you use your PC for both gaming and productivity but if you only game, you are better off getting the cheaper 7800X3D. It only has 8 cores but since it's design architecture is one chiplet, the 3D V-Cache is on all 8 cores, none of the cores are parked and you get the full use of all 8 cores vs the use of only 6 cores with the 7900X3D I take this as a learning experience and while I have a little buyer's remorse, I can't say that the 7900X3D doesn't perform well. It's just that the 7800X3D makes the 7900X3D inferior and for less money. It's highly likely that AMD delayed the release of the 7800X3D at the time so that early adopters like myself would buy the 7900X3D since one would think 7900X3D>7800X3D (bigger number better). which feels scummy but you live and you learn. AMD may hove squeezed a couple of hundred dollars out of me with this move but they made me be more critical and averse to buying their products in the future.

The old used processor sent and and after 25 days also neither my order has been picked off nor refund yet processed

If you can find a deal on it, it is a wonderful gaming/productivity CPU. It is not as fast as the 7800X3D when gaming, as only 6 of the cores have the 3D cache. The other 6 cores are the standard Zen 4 cores with non-3D cache. Be sure to update your AMD chipset drivers, and set your power plan in Windows 11 to “balanced” to get the best use of the gaming cores. This is a surprisingly great chip if you get it for the correct price. Wait for it to be on sale and you won’t be sorry!
