Catalyn is a nutritional product that has been around since 1929. It was introduced by the founder, Dr. Royal Lee, DDS (a dentist and maverick in the field of nutrition) as his first product. The intention of this product is to supplement a person's diet with vital nutrients from whole food sources. These are not vitamins manufactured in a pharmaceutical or chemical plant. These are nutrients supplied in the manner they appear in nature. I have used the Standard Process Catalyn 360 Tabs for many years (still the same recipe after 80 years), but wanted to try this version. They taste good! Although rated the same, nutritionally, this newer (1997) chewable version is a bit sweeter than the original and is flavored with natural cherry fruit powder, of course to target them for children. In his historic work, Compiled Notes on Clinical Nutritional Products , Dr. Walter H Schmitt, DC, pg. 26., tells us that Catalyn "was designed to contain all the vitamins and trace minerals, both known and unknown. Because it is made from natural sources (liver, wheat germ, etc.) it contains all of the trace minerals found in nature as well as the major minerals such as calcium, iron, and phosphorous." What I find most surprising is what he says next, "Each time a new trace element is discovered, Catalyn is analyzed and the element is found to be present." He also adds, "The effectiveness of many products derived directly from nature is often due to the trace elements and enzymes contained therein." The presence of these he claims is due to the fact that they are "cold processed," which he explains briefly.

I'm in love with these vitamins 😍 since I've been taking them I haven't been as hungry. I'm assuming it's because I'm getting more nutrients. I have more energy as well. I feel better. I will continue using them. The chewable ones aren't that great tasting, but that's ok

My 7 year old is not a fan but she will take them if she has to. My 3 and 1 year old love them. I only give my kids supplements in the "sick season". September thru April. Seems to be beneficial. I give this daily and then elderberry and zinc when they are sick. Works as a good regimen.

I purchase this on a regular basis but usually through a different source. Everything looked good when it arrived and I will purchase again through Amazon.

Love these for my kids! I thought they used to use honey instead of cane sugar though… I am pretty bummed they changed that. My kids love the taste and I personally have been to the standard process farm and love their products and the quality of them.

These were recommended by a holistic doctor, for my son's heart health related to baby asthma. We now swear by them. These are chewable and my son says they taste good (not great, but not complaining). I purchased these for $20, which is a reasonable price point. Come in a glass jar. Only a few stores carry Standard Process near us, the ingredients are stellar.
