I ordered this to trace a propane leak in a newly installed firetable. The device was easy to use and quickly detected the gas leak and helped resolve the issue.

Gas leak found!
Worked phenomenally! Was able to pinpoint precisely where the gas was leaking and what specific connection was leaking gas. I was able to fix the leak and no longer smell gas in my garage. Great buy, great price!

It Good
Great tool. Fixing my gas fireplace, and this helped me insure my connections weren't leaking. Does take awhile to turn on is my only complaint. Easy to use otherwise.

A Functional Basic Sniffer

Works like a charm.
I don't like using the soapy bubble solution to check for gas leaks so I purchased this electronic detector. I followed the simple instructions for operating it then checked to verify it worked by turning a gas burner on then off and it immediately detected natural gas and the alarm sounded. I did need to check a gas line that I just installed and no leaks were detected which gives me peace of mind. Personally I feel this is a must have detector for anyone that uses natural gas in their home or living environment. FYI, this detector does detect more than just natural gas and you will find everything it detects in the description on Amazon. I would not hesitate to recommend this!

Well worth the money but be cautious finding the problem.
Great product for the homeowner. Quick story as to why I ordered this. My wife and my daughter swore they smelled a faint trace of natural gas after a new dryer was installed. I couldn't smell it. This detector took me right to the leak in minutes. Well worth the money. I haven't had the opportunity to use it with other gas types yet. Gas leaks are no joke. If it's server, vacant the premises and call a professional or 911. DO NOT use anything that can generate a spark.
