The item is not working correctly. It gets hot right away and shuts down. I want my son to send it back, but I have not received any information from Amazon on how to do this.

The seller was great. When package was late, he checked on it himself. I was so excited when it came. I gave it to my son for Christmas. It works great, and he loves it!

Excellent purchase - exceeded expectations overall
Wow the playstatio clearly met and exceeded my expectations - ultra FAST load times, incrdible acoustics, fantastic purchase. Purchased Amazon renewed to save money - outstanding value overall. Very Happy with the playstation.

Caution advised
Console "works" but will quickly shut down due to overheating when playing Ratchet and Clank (All updates were installed and it is running in Performance mode). Fan and PSU look clean, so probably will have to disassemble and refresh the thermal liquid metal, which will take some doing, fortunately it is something I can do + maybe get a stand with added fan. Unit was probably returned for this reason and detailed product testing is probably not being done on these units. Better of buying a certified refurbished directly from Sony.com, might fair better. Not sure.

As long as the system works I'm happy
The system works fine , the plastic on the lower bottom left was broke. And the USB cable it came with did not work but I have my own so , so far so good
