Best midrange smartwatch
I have had this watch for a few months at this point. I have used a ton of different cheaper watches, and the accompanying apps. This one by far is beyond the others. First the watch faces are customizable you can use a large variety of free ones, you can purchase more in the app or you can use the custom watch face builder to create your own. The tracking of everything works well. I don't use any of the paid services, but there is plenty of information available for someone who is mildly interested in tracking sleep quality, steps, exercise, water consumption, activity levels, etc. More importantly for me, it sends me notifications, answers calls, has voice assistant, and tracks all of the above. It stays charged for an entire workweek. I charge it on my day off when I am just relaxing, then I am good to wear it consistently for the next week. I have eyed the pixel watch on and off, but the darn higher end watches don't stay charged long enough. So if you are not looking for a doctor on your wrist that gives perfectly accurate data this is a good choice. It seems pretty accurate for what I use it for, and I don't base medical decisions off the data, other than maybe saying I don't think I am getting enough sleep sometimes. If the pixel watch eventually can match battery life might try that out someday, but until then this is the brand for me. Oh and unlike all the other cheaper ones, this app stays connected and reconnects when it is back in range, I never lose my sleep or steps data because I forgot to link the app at exactly 11:59 at night, or ever. The only time I don't get data is when I am not wearing the watch. ***update April 2025*** This watch is still working fantastically. I work in a commercial kitchen, I am sometimes elbow deep in a sink full of dishes or covered to my elbows in degreaser, oil, sanitizer, or food of some sort. When I am just prepping food I will usually pull my glove up over the watch, but otherwise it is exposed to the abuse of the elements in the kitchen. Most of the watches I have used before seem to fall apart after a few months in the kitchen. I think some of the chemicals we use dissolve the glue that holds the face to the body of the watch. This one still looks brand new. There is a warning somewhere in the instructions to not expose this to prolonged hot water, the thing is I can't stop what I am doing to take my watch off, so I had resigned myself to just purchasing new watches when the old one broke. And if this one eventually falls apart I will replace it with the newest model of the exact same watch. The app for this watch just works. It tries to sell me upgrades every couple weeks but they aren't necessary to keep track of steps or sleep or anything else really. It still connects automatically whenever in range of my phone, and I do not have to think about it at all. I can ignore the app for weeks at a time and still go back and look at the data whenever I want. And when I am feeling like I want something new I just switch out the band. It is so nice to be able to view my messages when I am elbow deep in a giant batch of bread. For me this watch takes the abuse that I never expected it to, I have given up on the more expensive brands... They are never going to compare especially when it comes to battery life. ***august 2025**** Last update because I think the point has been made. This watch is still working exactly as it should. I still wear it for four to six days without charging or removing, I charge it on my first day off work, then the only other time I remove it is when I get in the shower, then I jut put it right back on after I have toweled dry. I have come to expect this watch to always be there. It has become a tool that I use always. I use the weather app, check steps, sometimes check sleep, time and date, and notifications. I still don't even use this to it's full potential. There are so many other little things like the stress monitor, heart health, it has a built into the app nutritional info. It has a training template so you can track reps. There are sooo many widgets and measurements it is easily personalized for the individual. Fantastic smart watch.

Best watch ever!!
I bought this watch and I'm very satisfied. It has three features I love: it's beautiful, functional, and comfortable. The battery lasts for several days without needing to be charged, and it connects quickly to the phone. The app is clear and comprehensive. It's a great price, and I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10.

Great watch, but it will not detect sleep
I've had the watch for about 8 months now, and I've worn it off and on. I've found the GPS accuracy on workouts to be extremely good. I honestly don't know why they keep updating this, because it's been flawless since day 1. I once wore it along with an Apple Watch series 3, and it blew the AW away in accuracy. It will also write data to the Apple Health app, which is nice. Watch faces were lacking at first, but now there are quite a few very nice free ones that you can get. The watch faces are cool, and the always-on display works great. The ONLY thing the watch can't do well is detect sleep. They claim it detects "sleep" from 6pm through 6am, and anything outside of this range is considered a "nap." I don't have a problem with that, if it actually worked. I go to sleep at roughly 11pm and wake up at 7am. I'm pretty consistent, and I have no trouble sleeping. I wear the watch tight enough. It does not detect sleep accurately. Nearly every single night, the watch records that I went to sleep for the first time when I go BACK to sleep after waking up in the night. It says I slept from 4am to 7am, which is just wrong. I slept like a rock from 11pm to 4am, and it's like the watch just glitches during that time period. I've factory reset it a few times, so it's not that. It absolutely refuses to record that sleep has started at any time from 9pm to 2am Eastern Standard Time. Occasionally, I'll take a nap from 10am to 11am or so -- when I do that, the watch typically detects the start and end of the nap with no problem. Another interesting thing to note is that when I traveled to Europe, the watch magically started recording my sleep properly. When I came home, the problem returned. It seems like a bug in the code around time zones or something. It seems like a massive problem, so I have no idea why it hasn't been found and corrected yet. Also.. I would not even care if this watch had NO sleep tracking at all. Sleep tracking is useless in my opinion -- but you cannot turn it off! And then the stupid thing sits there and lectures me about the importance of a good night's sleep.

I had not heard of Amazfit brand before, until my son bought one for his gf. You can gauge quality immediately from the website, which is nicely put together and nice graphics. These watches are hard to find to try in shops, so I wanted to try one. Immediately out the box you can see this is high quality, with nice touches like the engraved button control and high polish finish, plus high quality graphics. The setup out the box is uber-easy and it was up and running quickly. The Zepp app has lots of functionality and connects well to see any trails and maps in lots of detail. The watch is very light and low in profile, so you hardly know you are wearing it. The strap tucks in the strap and so doesn't catch on clothing and easy to wear overnight for sleep tracking. The heart rate and blood O2 are impressive and if not absolute at least give trends and alerts. I used the watch for some mountain biking and hikes and it tracks nicely and accurate. I was concerned about privacy as one reviewer couldn't find it on the Amazfit website, but its there and similar to Apple, Garmin etc. This smartwatch puts it ahead of the competition costing 2 or 3 x the price. I have had Samsung Watch5 (only works on Android), Garmin but I'm certainly impressed with this GTR Mini and its price, functions and battery life.

I’ve been using this watch for about 10 days now. I fully charged it when it arrived, and the battery lasted around one week with regular use. The watch looks nice and feels good to wear. It doesn’t have an overwhelming number of features, but it includes the essentials like blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, heart rate monitoring, and many different sports modes to choose from. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.
