Durable and flexible
I bought this before. It’s a great frisbee — not as light or as far-flying as the black Kong Flyer, but it’s durable and easy for my border collie to catch. I lost the previous one. Just bear in mind that you’ll need to practise your throw at first — it takes a little getting used to. That said, it’s really good. It could be a bit cheaper, though, especially with so many competitors on the market now that fly farther.

Durable fun!
Fantastic disc - strong enough for the poodle mix and corgi I mostly use it with to practically hang off with zero tearing or piercing. I'm not sure it would stand up to the American bully or GSD but it would definitely last longer than the others I've tried with them. Flies pretty well too! And cleans reasonably easily.

Really Great Frisbee - KONG vs West Paw Flying Dog Toys
I write this as a dog walker whose used this frisbee with 4 different breeds, sizes and ages of dog and all have absolutely loved it. It's floppy, heavy rubber with a small rim- the floppiness means you have to use both hands to fly it with which you'll be sorry about when its wet and muddy. I've not taken a star away because the dogs love the floppiness, it means they can really enjoy swinging it around the place and fold it in half in their mouth. The weight allows it to fly steadily in high winds, just spin it into the wind. Because the rim is shallow you have to throw more with the arm and less with the wrist. The floppiness is also great because you can play pull games with it. I've had a Labrador bury it, chew it and my own collie drop it in the river- it stayed in the river for three days till it was shallow enough for my dainty dog to drag it to the shore, and pick it up without getting his head dry. KONG vs West Paw Flying Dog Toys West Paw Design Zogoflex Zisc Dog Toy I thought I might write a comparison between the Kong Flyer to the West Paws one as they are the better frisbees for dogs out there and I have had several of each. The Paw's frisbee is firmer and can be thrown one handed, and further, but I'm using both at the moment and I'm afraid the dogs prefer the Kong. The Paw's one claims it can float but I have two frisbees somewhere in ditches that say otherwise. That said it will float a little while the Kong was drops like a stone. The wider rim allows a better wrist flick and better flying, it's lighter but that counts against it strong wings. Over all both have equal merits but for the price- West Paw was £12 when I bought it and now have raised their prices to £18! King is more than £10 cheaper and (which should count as the most important thing) the dogs seem to prefer it.

Excellent exercise for pet and value for money
The product is very good ,but my German Shepherd Devil hound Cassie has gone through them in less than a week, she rips and bites at it like any of her other toys and hence it can no longer be used as a flyer, However if you have a well behaved dog that drops it , it will last for months, it flies a good 20 to 30 metres with a good throw, although the old ball and chain manages about 3 feet, apart from that it gets 4 star because the prices have fluctuated recently going up and down by approx 20% , depending on seller but all in all its an excellent flyer, flies far and very well and is very cheap for what your actually getting and would definitely recommend to any pet owner. After 5 minutes of throwing the dog is nearly as happy as a dog wearing sunglasses with its head stuck out the car window riding shotgun, really decent product.Don,t bother with inferior plastic brittle flyers which break after one throw, get this instead.

Sturdy, Fun, Flies Great!
This Kong "Frisbee" is outstanding! My extremely enthusiastic collie has had a blast with this and after a month of daily, intense use, it has no chips, cracks or chew marks. It flies great (though is a bit heavier to throw than a typical plastic model, so may not go as far) and has survived thousands of catches from the tester dog. When it lands flat, she paws it to bend it enough to grab on, and that hasn't damaged it at all either. This is now my ball-obsessed dog's favourite toy now. I have used typical hard plastic Frisbees with other dogs and after use, the hard plastic becomes roughened up enough to abrade and cut into the corners of their mouths, (even the lightweight ones). I wouldn't use a hard plastic flyer for dogs ever again. She highly recommends her Kong flyer. (She has the Large size, and it's perfect for a collie).

Kong Flyer, Large
After managing to chomp his way through 2 very cheap plastic frisbees from the local market for literally 50p, our Spaniel/Pointer named TED gave us the nod to buy something more robust as a result of his new found activity, frisbee throwing. We found this one, and decided to give it a try. Well, I'll let TED do the "Watchdog" report: If your folks are used to tossing the kaber, you might get them to throw it 50m, but most dog owners will only manage 15 - 20m at best. Its not far enough for me as I like a long throw, and this one is not a good flyer. All this equals to more throws per minute, as I am not getting worn out like I should, and instead the folks are getting arms like Popeye for throwing it! As for colour, ours was in red, so you can see it if it lands in the sea, but if I don't get it straight away, it dives by itself (in other words, its not a floater!) Durability: I am not a chewer, but the folks have already had to get the superglue to it at the seams, as it split after 6 months. So, there you have TED's review. Its still with us, it's better than cheap plastic, but don't expect more than 12 months use on this type, if its in use every day.

Really tough
Very durable. I have a Staff/American Bulldog cross and these are the only things that he doesnt destroy. Good size for a large dog. Easy to clean

My dog loves chasing this and bringing it back. It's tough so when he is rough with it it doesn't break. It was a replacement for my old one and is far better quality and flies better. Great fetch toy.
