I ordered this to read and clear a code from my 2017 Ram 2500 diesel, and honestly for the price I wasn't expecting much. You are able to see a lot of diagnostic information with this sensor. You can clear the warnings to remove the engine light (not recommended). Works reliably. Even provides live data such as engine temp and rpm and battery voltage. Was easy to use, barely needed additional instructions.

As a "shade tree" mechanic fixing my own vehicles I can't do much without a good (cheap) code reader. My old BT model would not connect to my phone, so I ordered this all-in-one setup. Worked to pull codes from 2006 Toyota Tundra, 2007 Toyota Prius and 2021 Toyota Prius. Easy to use and to read. I didn't even read the instructions, just plugged it into the vehicle, grabbed and cleared the codes.

Worked for me to retrieve a trouble code for my daughter's car. The code was P0171 which is a lean condition on bank 1. By Knowing the code, I easily figured out that I had left the PVC hose off the week before when I cleaned her air filter. Problem has been fixed. The tool already paid for itself. I have always wanted to purchase a scan tool but never wanted to spend the money on a Code reader because of its limitations. I've just used this on my 2.2ltr Vauxhall Astra, which had a check emissions light on, after multiple recent jump starts and a new immobiliser fitment. I can't believe how easy this tool was to use. Plug it into the port, ran a battery check test, then switched the ignition to start up checks and then started the engine. No issues causing the light and no error codes; I reset the light using this tool. Job done. I then just checked all the other live vehicle data, just out of interest; all running great.
